The receptionist assured me that they take my insurance at the time of my scheduling our appointments (WellCare) and scheduled us for an appointment for the end of September. Trusting that my son now had an established doctor, I ended my search and awaited his appointment. I've received SEVERAL reminders for the appointment via text message and was there for his appointment. Granted, I failed to bring his insurance card with me, since WellCare is easily searchable by entering his ss number, I asked the receptionist if she could look him up.. at which time she rudely popped off "we don't do that here" as she was finishing that sentence to me, another woman from the office staff walked up and asked what the issue was and said "I have to have his insurance card to be able to see him today" I said I failed to bring it and apologized to which she responded to me saying exactly what she said before "I have to have his insurance card to be able to see him today" Then she asked me if it's Medicaid that he has and that they are not taking any new Medicaid patients at this time. so, I was told they did take our insurance, waited an entire month for his appointent at which Tim was talked to like I was trash and turned away. She takes the time to really listen and focuses on the root of the issues.
