We arrived toward to the end of the Thanksgiving lunch hours. I thought most of the delicious looking Thanksgiving delicacies were picked over but they still had enough for more than our group of six. In this southern traditional setting enviroment, I thought my experience, being an Asian alone, would be some what awkward. But to my surprise, I was welcomed by a number of Asian staff members, mostly from the Philippines. Just them being there, comforted my situation. But I didn't know how many knew I was an Asian, except my Filipina waitstaff: Before I ask anyone of their origin of where they are from, I introduce my origin first.
