Anytime I have had a question, I am always treated with respect, and there is never anything that she is not willing to answer or find out the answer to for me. Maura and her staff all know me by name and face and even remember my husband and kids' names when we meet. They are all very courteous and friendly. Anytime I call there, they always treat me as if I were a member of their family, no matter who answers the phone. Anytime I have had an issue or had to file a claim, they have been right there to help me with whatever it is I need and they are very thorough in explaining just exactly what it is I need to do or what will be happening with my policies! I have been a customer of State Farm Insurance for around 40 years. I received a notice a few…read moreweeks ago that State Farm was not renewing my Homeowners insurance due to "Claim History". On their termination letter, they listed the offending claims. The first was a payout of $0.00 and the second was a payout of $289.00 I immediately contacted Amos Baca who has been my agent for over 15 years. Their office said that the decision was from their underwriters and not from them and unsuccessfully tried to appeal the decision. I should add that my rating applies more to State Farm corporate than to Amos who did what he could to try to appeal it. This decision of theirs is based on the fact that the two claims I had (one of which should not even count since they paid out $0.00) within a year. Not making any allowances for the zero dollar claim and for the longevity of my association with this company in unconscionable. I am now moving all of my insurance to a new company and will never do business with State Farm again. I strongly recommend avoiding this company altogether. Look at how they are treating homeowners in Colorado who were affected by the Marshall Fire. This company used to be a "good neighbor" but now this "neighbor" figuratively shit on my lawn. State Farm is a bunch of greedy crooks.

Also, when I asked for auto body shops that are euro certified they said," they had none within your network but feel free to go to anyone that you prefer"...Absolutely asinine. My parked car was hit. I have Statefarm for insurance. I pay monthly, you repair my car. End of story. Finally, I found Jeff and Square State Insurance on Yelp. He was able to find me a new policy for both home and auto, and save me nearly $100 / mo for very comparable coverage. In the current market, every little bit helps. He was also able to answer all of my questions about the new policies, and how switching would work.
