Twice in less than one week. They give a very ungenuine apology but could care less about leaving you unsatisfied. Had I known my friend was going to hire them, I would have warned her, but I will definitely spread the word about these people. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. After failing to arrive at the agreed time to our event…read more(first 2 pm, then extended to 3 pm because they claimed to have trouble with their food truck), neither Mayra Borunda (owner) or any employee would answer our numerous calls. After no response from them, and with 100+ guests already seated and waiting, my husband and I had to scramble to find alternate food services. Deco Ivory employees arrived at 5 pm claiming they had suffered a flat tire, which doesn't explain why they couldn't answer our phone calls. Of course we informed them we no longer needed their services as we had to hire another emergency caterer, but we needed to speak with the owner to get our deposit back. He was able to get her on the phone, but she declined to speak with us and said she'd call us herself later that day. She didn't call us that day or the next day. I finally had to contact her myself on Monday to request my deposit back. She agreed to return our deposit in full, but never offered any type of apology or explanation. I would NOT recommend this business (?) to anyone. DO NOT HIRE DECO IVORY EVENT SERVICES.
