Then, what an adorable shop...love the combination of real wood, sofas, old school kitchen tables & chairs, and the vintage apparel they have that is on trend with the theme of the shop. Now for the best....the coffee is amazing. I got the seasonal Bahama Mama and it was perfectly balanced. My friend got the honey, lavender latte and she made pleasing sounds every time she sipped! Service was good. Some of the reviews talk about long lines but we were there on Saturday morning and got served right away. The team fit the feel of the shop. So I've had this place on my Greenville list for a while. Decided to stop in for the new sweet corn espresso while in town for the 4th. I arrive and the line is to the door. So I'm thinking ok this place has to be good. It took about 20-25 mins to get to the register and order. I ordered the sweet corn shaken espresso with almond milk and a cinnamon roll so I could make sure to show support. It took 22 mins to get the drink which o tried to be understanding because it was busy and there was really only one person making drinks. Most efficient way? Maybe not but he was steadily working. I watched probably 20 drinks come up almost spilling over they were so full and delicious looking. Finally mine comes up and 1/4 of the cup is empty. Weather ice or almond milk at least fill the cup like the rest of the drinks. So whatever 45 mins I'm not asking for a remake or anything it's already hot inside and just standing there I'm sweating. I get in the car and think well they short changed the drink at least I got this thick cinnamon roll to make up for it. Well jokes on me again. The roll was very dense and dry. While it may have been made that morning it was dry as if it was a day or two old. I figured maybe it was just the outside that was dry but it was the same even in the center. The centers are always supposed to be the best part. Sadly I didn't get the experience everyone else seems to get. Over all pretty disappointing experience that I wish would have been better to give a better review for a local shop. read more

Stopped in here on a Sunday morning, and the vibe was very cute! There was no line when I arrived but after I order, the place had filled up. The iced latte was good. I also got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich; the egg patty was too thick and disintegrated while I ate it. I'd go back for the coffee if I was in the area and just try one of the pastries. read more

This place is soooo cute! We came in on a Saturday mid morning and the place was PACKED - be ready to wait in line if you come on a Saturday like I did. The decors are very vintage-y and cute, I saw they sell some thrift clothing in the corner along with their merch. Although they have a lot of creative coffee options, my husband and I opted for the classics, iced latte and iced americano - both were very good. The pastries looked too good to pass up so we also ordered a chocolate chip banana bread (which is gluten free by the way) and bacon and gouda scone, and both were excellent. They also sell premade sandwiches in the fridge and a lot of people were buying them, so they must be delicious too! Price-wise I would say it's pretty standard coffee/pastry pricing, nothing outrageous. Will definitely be coming back! read more

The coffee and pastries are amazing and they make coming here worth it because service is horrible. Everyone seems like they hate taking my order and I'm bothering them. I even stopped coming for a while but came in the other day and as I'm waiting for my order, I overheard a worker talking about how she was so mean to the customers because of her migraine the other day. I live. Laugh. Love this place. I've tried a few different seasonal and staple coffees here and all of them have been nothing short of phenomenal. This isn't a quick grab a coffee place unless you're getting a plain coffee. All of their lattes or specialty drinks are like tiny works of art. They also offer pastries that are to die for!!! Seriously one of the best / freshest cookies I've had (pro tip: warm it up!) vibes here are unmated and staff is always servicing with a smile on their face. The music they play is so good, the WiFi signal is strong, and the way you feel leaving refreshed and recharged is something I've never felt when leaving any other coffee shop. I hate that I don't live closer because I'd definitely be a regular but for now I'll cherish each time I can visit. I also love that it's female owned/ founded and they use their store to double as a marketplace for local artists. I love daydrinkers! read more

Such a gem of a spot! I had the iced orange vanilla latte and it was so good--perfectly balanced, lightly sweet, and super refreshing. The space itself is just as impressive: a cozy, cool vibe with a large hand-painted mural that stretches across the wall and sets the tone for a laid-back, creative atmosphere. My brother tried the sour beer and loved it--bright, crisp, and surprisingly complex for a coffee shop offering. We were so charmed by the whole experience that we ended up buying merch. Day drinkers is such a fun new coffee shop. It is a little off the beaten path but totally worth it! I had a decaf pistachio almond milk latte. The pistachio tasted great and wasn't overly sweet. I ordered a cold brew and was asked if I wanted ice; I was confusingly said yes and was later handed a nitro cold brew over ice. There was no signage telling me that I was getting a nitro, and the nitro was very light compared to most coffee shops in our area that also serve nitro. Then I had asked for an americano as a replacement, but was handed an even more watered down drink than the nitro cold brew. The store wasn't too bad within its own right; Definitely very cute and cozy! However I felt that I was burdening/annoying the baristas when I had let them know I wasn't unsatisfied. I attended the soft launch for this new coffee shop today, and it was a very pleasant experience. I got a cortado (hot) and a bartender's choice style drink for my wife, who wasn't with me. The barista and owner, Nikki, asked me some questions about what my wife likes, and the result was amazing. I tasted it before I left. I don't even like iced coffee or sweetened coffee, but it was perfectly sweet and delicious. My wife also loved it. The owners have years of experience crafting delicious cups and shots, and that's evident in the product. The ambiance is very pleasant. It's a modern, industrial style space with plenty of comfortable seating. Also, their coffee is roasted by local craft coffee roaster and coffee shop, Methodical Coffee, and the owner of Methodical was there at the opening to wish them well. He even bought a bag of his own beans from them. This place is worth a visit if you're into coffee. read more

I was surprised and thrilled to stumble upon a little coffee shop in San Souci that delivers on the coffee and so much more. Daydrinkers is not the typical SF minimalist prototype that has been popping up everywhere. It's special. It has heart. And the coffee is solid. Daydrinkers gives you an excuse to slow down, make small talk, and remind yourself that you're surrounded by interesting people worth interacting with. Sure, it's not the mechanized fast food coffee that a robot can literally make. If you just need your fix, you can find those bucks everywhere. The coffee shop is cute. I'm traveling from out of state so I was excited to try it. If you want a cute photo I'd check it out. However, that's the only positive about it. The coffee and matcha was alright, nothing to go out of your way for. The staff was very rude and unfriendly. Full transparency, it's like they've never seen a person of color before. We felt like we were treated very differently than the others at the coffee shop. That is such a shame. In this day and age for you to treat your paying guests differently is gross. Perfect location for an underserved market. I would recommend this coffee shop just because of the owners Nikki and Katie because they work hard and make the experience special. But the coffee speaks for itself whether hot or iced. Great base using Methodical Coffee which is the best in the upstate in my opinion but the talent of these two make great drinks. I would go multiple times a week if I lived in the area but I drove across town 20 minutes to see what the fuss was about. Lovely industrial vibe and just the kind of wonderful coffee shop we would all love to have nearby. I will make this drive again and it's probably 10 minutes or so from downtown.
