Location is great right on the water at the Alabama-Georgia line, literally, and located downtown near the main drag. We got a room for $69 (with military discount, normally it was $77). Rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and condiments, iron, etc. King size bed with nice sheets and fluffy pillows. Bathroom is nice, shower is large. Full cable and wifi. There is a gym onsite and complimentary continental breakfast in the morning until 9am. Staff is very friendly and professional. Lots of parking. Only downside is the nightly pool parties tend to get loud, otherwise I'd give it a 5 star. Definitely recommend.

I am currently 8 months pregnant and my husband and I just needed a place to stay for the night with our 15 month old daughter. We lasted about 20 minutes because it was so gross. You know when you walk in somewhere and just start getting itchy and wanna cry? Stay here if that's the vibe you want. It was a no smoking room that smelled like my aunts apartment who smokes 6 packs a day. There were even cigarette holes in the bed sheets. The 3 local flies seemed like this was their room as they wouldn't leave. Wouldn't even go near the door. I know things like that happen but 3 flies? Come on. It smelled like a morgue but maybe that's the kind of cleaning products they use? Idk.. I'm not a cleaner. I cried because I'm pregnant and feel itchy and it's just overall gross so I tell my husband I can't stay there. He's not a go with the flow guy but even he said he couldn't stay it was so gross. I told him we had to leave and he walked into the office and said we needed to leave for an emergency (a lie, I know but I didn't wanna tell people I'd rather stay in a cemetery.) The first thing out of the ladies mouth was "we can't give you a refund" which sounds like she's said this 1 or 500 times before. My husband isn't a man of too many words but when we left he said, "I should have known it would have been bad when the manager/owner came out in his pajamas at 5:30pm."

I had a quite nice stay at Super 8 last night, made nicer by the hotel manager. The management…read morefamily lives there - as they explained, there is not a lot of traffic through Eufaula, so that is how they make it work. I didn't get to meet the family, but the owner/desk guy is super nice and chatty. I happened to route back past here after leaving pre-dawn and stopped back in - yes he got my room key, yes I missed breakfast coming and going, but he brought me a little food anyway. So nice. Anyway, as for my room? Clean, mostly working except in the bathroom... and pretty quiet. Although rooms are outside-entry and I could hear the road noise, the road has no traffic overnight and it's not near an Interstate like many hotels. Comfy bed, plenty of pillows, though I found myself switching pillows every couple of hours overnight as one sagged down where my head rested. C'est dormir. Re: the bathroom? I was in the farthest room from the front. It took a long time for the water to heat, which I kinda got from that distance as well as it having been sub-freezing the night before, rare for Alabama. The water did eventually heat, and that is how I noticed the bathtub didn't drain well. The owner did promise to look into that for me. I also had to hold the toilet handle awhile to get it to flush, again a function of distance from the water source, again not really a concern. The verdict? Absolutely a good place to stay if you find yourself in the area overnight. I just would ask for a room closer to the front. (:

This is a long one but it's worth the read. So the owner of this establishment preaches clean rooms…read moreand good prices. Well the prices are great but we are here for work and love saving money. However we do like to check out the sheets before laying down for a good nights rest, however in two different rooms there was bed bugs or and track marks along the seams of these mattresses that we where told were new. Also while we had already entered the second room we where given we started immediately looking over the bedding. After entering the room and had the door closed behind us. The owner was standing outside the room and then proceeded to enter the room uninvited without knocking or asking. Then he had left. So we proceeded to our investigation, he entered the room a second time without knocking or asking. Just barged in this time with a slight attitude that we were even looking to make sure there was none. There however were track marks on the seams and sheds. We left and went to eat, and decided upon returning that we were not going to stay the night. We politely asked the owner if we could receive a refund for the second night when he got mad and said "no return for tonight or tomorrow!" Then closed the through window. So here we are submitting a long review of our loss. If you see the super 8 just keep on going towards Georgia there's better hotels.
