As the tagline suggests, Michael's act is a combination of humor and magic - mocking magic while simultaneously impressing the audience with magic. Knowing that Michael also performed for corporate and other types of events besides university programming, I asked him to attend a Tweetup with about 100 people. He performed tricks during networking, and the crowd fell in love with him when he finally performed his act. A few months later when I was organizing a fundraiser, I used him as the main attraction - folks from the first event showed up eager to see him again as well as many new faces. I got tremendous feedback from his performance - and of course I loved it, despite having heard most of the jokes and seen the tricks three times, his act still makes me smile!
