This is the second time we took our poodles over to Dazzle Dogs. Our original place in Shreveport has gone out of business and Dazzle Dogs is only a 10 minute drive instead of a 40 minute drive. As we walked into Dazzle Dogs we were greeted with warm smiles and hello's. Each person that we had contact with was very nice and was eager to help. We explained how we would like to have the poodles cut and they immediately understood and asked if there would be any other type of grooming needed, ie: nails, bows, paws shaved, etc... They also ensured that each animal had all their shots up to date. The place itself was very clean (they have a lot of pets there for adoption) and did not have that funky smell as some animal places do. As we walked to the back there was a place were the dogs we able to play and lay about. This was a very clean area. I noticed they do boarding, day care, grooming and more. This is a great place. I encourage each person to visit Dazzle Dogs. We will go back! read more

We have used Dazzle Dogs several times in the past. They really seem to love our fur babies! They always smell so good when we pick them up. They are really good with our "escape artist" dog. I recommend anyone using this place to board your pets! read more

After several bad boarding experiences in the area, we were recommended to Dazzle Dogs. Our first dealing with them was a simple grooming, and then boarding a month later. The staff has never failed to be outgoing and friendly, but more importantly, they lavish affection on my dogs. Fast forward a year later, my dogs, who have -always- been reluctant to even walk into boarding facilities, don't seem to bat an eye walking into Dazzle Dogs. Not only are they happy coming out, but they're even happy going in. I couldn't ask for a better endorsement!!! To anyone looking for a good boarding facility in the Minden area, you're missing out if you're going anywhere but here! I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

They have always been superbly informative in responses to all the questions I propel at them. And they are super friendly with my animals as well in which I know they enjoy their experiences. Having a pet is expensive, especially once you start taking them to the vet with $200 vaccination bills (usually the initial visit) and $300 spay fees, per animal. Prescription fees are at a great price. Therefore, if you're not ready financially to take care of your pets, please don't complain about the pricing. They don't offer payment plans which I was surprised about, but them doing their job at a quality level takes that shock away. The vets understand how pricey it gets, so they can resonate. Definitely recommend Petstar for those that are new to having animals and have questions usually. Wish they had a website for their retail store!
