I know how that inconvenienced this company terribly because they needed to make a second trip, loading and unloading their equipment more than once. He says he will come by to give an estimate which he does end up doing after not showing up on the day he said he would. He shows up, and looks inside all rooms, outside as well. Very complimentary, VERY talkative. Seems like a nice guy. He launches into a conversation about how he is a pastor, then shares a lot of information about that, people he knows, and things about his son. Then he ventures into a discussion about Trump. It is incredibly inappropriate to bring up politics-but a clever story which I realize later was designed to figure out my political leanings. Offputting, but I am willing to let it go because I want my windows cleaned! Oh yes, he can get that done and very soon. GREAT! Except he never does. He promises me his wife will send out an estimate then shares that he rarely does estimates... and ends with ah you know, my son has gotten involved in the business because I'm not that great at following up. Truly honest to his word, he never did follow up. I tried him several times, but tbh I should have realized he is a terrible businessman who I should have never allowed into my house.

I contacted Brightway to estimate powerwashing a patio, 2 umbrellas, vinyl fencing, and a pathway circling a pond. Sean Stiles, an affable fellow, was quick to respond, walked the property, and sent an estimate via email within an hour or so of his inspection which included some additional work that I was not ready in doing at the same time. So far, so good. I replied, via email, with instructions of the work to be done, inquired of a better price (if possible), and conveyed my concerns about harmful chemicals that may affect the fish in the pond. I was then contacted by a fellow named Eric. We agreed on a lower price, agreed on a service date, and Eric told me that he would check with their chemical supplier with regard to my 'fish safety' concerns. The service date came but no workers. I left Eric 2 voicemails as to when I could expect them... No replies. The next day I then reached out to Sean Stiles requesting an explanation as to why no-one showed up the day before... to which Sean replied: "Hi Frank He (We) didn't like liability with fish issue. $400 something job with $4000 fish guaranty you might have a sick fish. Sorry, I thought this was understood. Thanks" My response to Sean was: "Fish not sick. If you didn't want to accept job you should have said so. Not returning calls and leaving people in the lurch AFTER agreeing is poor business. It's perfectly ok to have second thoughts. It's dis-courteous to not communicate them". There you have it. My problem with Brightway is in their lack of professionalism & consideration in how they conducted themselves, with no apparent regard to arrangements made and/or schedules altered to accommodate their service.
