Charged $150+ to diagnose a panel, and offered half-a-fix. I was expecting $100 as I stood there and watch them take 5 minute to test if there's any voltage on the breakers. They did literally nothing else. They did not disclose the diagnostic fee before coming out. They offered to replace 2 of the 3 breakers because the other one is a gfci and they don't carry it? How about quote the gfci breaker and go buy it from Home Depot. Why the hell would I want 2/3 of my equipment repaired? Asked for a quote for a panel replacement, and it was about 2000$. They saw the large home and went on their Highway robbery scheme.

On September 5, 2024 they asked some questions to purchase fittings and said they would have the quote the next day. After waiting, I asked about status on October 24, 2024. Response was "Who is this and price for what?" I told him and they said they thought they sent it and would get it right out. On November 7, 2024 I reached back out and asked about the quote again. They said they would have to come back out to look at everything again because it has been so long along with some other comments. I told them I was going to just do it myself at this point. I cannot comment on their work because I never got to that point. The people were nice but that does not help me with the reason I contacted them in the 1st place. I cannot say if this is a one-off or not but it is something that should be known. 10 weeks of my time wasted when I could have been looking for someone else to do the work.

When the air conditioner didn't work this summer we thought that it was probably something they didn't hook up correctly after replacing the furnace, so we had the old company come back out. They swore it was nothing they had done and that our entire central air system needed replaced and said it was going to cost us over $7000. They gave us a whole laundry list of things that they said were broken. I didn't trust them and thought it had to be something they did since it worked just fine until they replaced the furnace. So I called AC Service company out to give us a second opinion. Jarrod was amazing. It turns out that it wasn't something that the other company did wrong. However, it was a simple fix of replacing the thermostat and now the air-conditioning is working fine!!! That other company was super shady and was going to cost us over $7000 (and based on how slow they were fixing the furnace, wouldn't be done for several weeks). Jarrod of AC service company had it fixed for under $400 the same evening. And he showed us several things that the previous furnace people did that were not up to code and could be downright dangerous. AC service company saved our budget and possibly saved us a major problem next winter. I am so grateful for AC service company and I will be using them from now on! Thank You Jarrod!!!
