He gets more accomplished during his lunch hour than at any time during his work day. A job that should take a day, maybe a day and a half takes several days. And no, he's not just being thorough, he does the least he possibly can. I've seen snails move faster than him. I've had multiple home improvements done on my house and worked for a HVAC, Plumbing and Carpentry company before, I've never seen a job so small take so long. Maybe he wants to occupy his time until he has another job, but that's still not a good enough reason to inconvenience me and allow for there to be safety hazards in a home that has small children. He doesn't do what's best for the customer, which is probably why he has so few. This was a job that was covered by insurance. The insurance company selected him. If I had my choice, he absolutely wouldn't be it.

We wanted a room built around a 16' SwimSpa which was a challenging project which several other builders were unable to even quote us because they didn't know how to build the vault to sink the spa 3 feet below ground level and creat a trap floor deck to allow access to the mechanics. Keith knew exactly what we needed and promptly put together a beautiful de sign that included a proper dehumidifier, fan to vent fumes and an external heat pump so we can heat the spa more efficiently (and it cools the water too!). Every aspect of his design was perfect! Our addition is stunning. Once we moved the exercise equipment into the addition, Keith had his team reconfigure one of the bedrooms that was on a split hallway from our main bedroom so it now opens into our main bedroom. This leaves us with two private guest rooms and a guest bath adding a walk-in dressing room off the main bedroom. It is so amazing - the closet space we now have is enviable. His main crew Jimmy and Mike are master craftsmen who not only build your dream but are super nice and wonderful to work with. We are so thankful we found Keith and his team and highly highly highly recommend this Company and Crew. He kept us in the loop throughout the project (via text and calls), explained every step of the permit process in a way we could easily understand, worked hard to get the project done even with some supply chain delays and was wonderful with add-ons and changes my spouse came up with during the project. In this case, the behavior of this company was so egregious that I have to warn potential customers. About two years ago, our roof was old but we never had any leaks. Our former contractor recommended John Gilmore Roofing Inc. Our first mistake was that we didn't research the company first but rather accepted the contractor's recommendation. Immediately following the installation of the new roof, we had a leak in our living room ceiling right after the first rain. Mike, the roofing foreman whom we got to know quite well, redid some of the roof shingles. A few months ago after much rain, we had puddles on our living room floor from the same leak in the ceiling. Mike repaired the roof shingles twice but the leak persisted. Finally, my husband and our current contractor found the real source of the leak. Mike came back, agreed, replaced a lot of rotted wood and did some very messy but thorough caulking. Mike assured us many times that John Gilmore, owner, would reimburse us for the repair of our ceiling which by this time was in bad shape. After our contractor repaired it, I called John Gilmore to explain that I would send him the invoice for reimbursement. He blasted me, saying that I exaggerated everything, was not paying us a dime, told me to take him to court and hung up on me. Neither he nor Mike would return any of my husband's calls. And our roof is still under warranty!!!! AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

We did our research and thought Tadlock roofing would do a good job, we also upgraded the roof…read moreshingles and we paid 3,000 extra for a new chimney siding to be redone to follow manufacturer warranty guidelines, but we are very disappointed. Essentially this roof install voided my Owens Coring warranty and exposed water on my back patio ceilings and it collapsed and they exposed water to my attic floor which will eventually collapse. They refuse to fix these. On April 6th and 7th of 2022, Tadlock Roofing installed our roof during seasonal rain and showers in Gainesville. Tadlock roofers failed to cover exposed decking, exposed chimney rafters, insulation, felt paper, framing/lumber and back patio ceiling. Tadlock did not follow Owen's Coring manufacturer guidelines when installing a roof during inclement weather, and per Owens Coring, this voids our warranty and they refuse to fix. Two months after they installed my roof, my back patio ceiling fell and we noticed they allowed rain to fall on the attic flooring and Tadlock Roofing will not fix any damages.
