This location is clean and organized. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You'll find all sorts of things here if you are willing to walk up and down the aisles. Personally, I think it's dangerous, value priced items and endless inventory. You'll see similar items as Ross since they're a subsidiary of them but you're most likely to get it in your size as not as many patrons know to shop here. Children's clothes, shoes and toys are all here and in one spot. There's also household items. You're sure to find something here when you visit. Thank me later. I'll be back soon. read more

Very spacious store, well lit, they have a restroom, and they sell tons of clothes, shoes, purses, baby clothes, things like humidifiers and more. The employees were really nice and they have good deals, but it's slightly more expensive than Ross I would say. read more

Just purchased scrubs (6 pieces) for $60. What a deal! I also bought the same amount of pieces online for $115+. Ughh! And, Dds carries Cherokee and other name brands too. Discount store in a run down location, next to Grocery Outlet on Rancho Santa Fe Rd. They copy the layout of Ross, but it's like a discount Ross. Quality of items is pretty poor, lots of imitation stuff and clothes that look like irregular discards. So this is where all the stuff that other stores don't want end up. It's like Family Dollar meets discount Ross. Pretty messy and unclean place but if you don't mind you may find a deal. I didn't find anything at all. This place is not for me but my cheapskate friend likes this store. read more

Useful to get cheap fun and sassy clothing, but this particular store was not like the other ones I have been and could not find any cool dress I am used to. Since they change their inventory continuously, I would assume that it is just temporary bad luck and I will keep an eye in what is coming up. I got, though, a new collection of underwear of different styles. They carry nice brands at very good prices, so dd's is my Victoria's Secret but, shhh, don't tell anyone. read more

I like to shop here for the price. You will find great deals but it can be very scattered and unorganized. This place is NOT Clean that goes for dressing rooms too. Be sure to check the clothing items well some may be damaged and be cool because some staff are rude and don't want to help Male employee at dressing room was chatting with female coworker that was on her phone and seemed to be bothered when approached at dressing room . DDs is one of my favorite store always shop bargains and this the place for that. Always find great stuff on sale! And for the people who say this store is dirty and not clean go pay full price at the mall. It's not them some times is the nasty customers doing the messes and it sucks. My husband lost his wallet at the parking lots we filed a police report and requested the manager to watch the cameras for us to find out what happended. He was super rude and not helpful at all he was bragging to be the only one in charge and that he was not willing to, its so frustrating to have people like him in charge that are not even making any effort in helping out his customers. read more

dd's Discounts. Hm. It's like Ross, except like if Big Lots organized itself like a ROSS, but without the food stuff. There were three little Betsey Johnson Bags and two of someone else I can't remember and the rest of the purses are knock offs, but if you keep your eyes peeled, sometimes you can get your hands on a name brand purse decently priced. They have random stuff and some of it is a deal, but some of it is cheapo crap. Then you have some and you're like, I could get that cheaper at Target! What are they thinking? Its such a weird store. Cross between Ross and the 99Cent Store. I've been to dd's about 4 times total, for me it is just to see if they might, on the off chance, have a cheap cute designer bag. read more

I returned my watch after using it just once and it stopped working properly. At first I had a hard time returning it, but after politely explaining to the cashier and store manager about the watch I purchased the second time around, and how I just wanted a fair trade of my broken watch, I felt the store manager became so helpful and was nice to me. I was able to exchange my watch and thanks to both of them! I really like going to this DDs store and will continue to do so after this experience. read more

A dreary place to be honest. I was in there to pick up a couple of scrubs for work. As the older woman was tending to me, she explained their policy of counting the items and me having to place them on the rack. No problem there, I obliged. I come out and another woman, Ruth, is tending to me. I hand her my items and wait. Right then, another associate begins yelling at Ruth. Practically screaming at her to put my items on the rack. (She had already done so). Then, said associate walked away. I felt uncomfortable then and pissed off to - no wonder everyone here looks so worn out. Anyway, I go to checkout, make light convo with my cashier when that blonde appears again, this time demanding that the customers take the hangers off the clothes to make checkout faster. Overall? An otherwise decent experience was ruined by a loud woman named Blanca who likes yelling at her associates and customers like they're dumb and who I only saw running around the store like a chicken with its head cut off. Other than taking over a register, she spent the rest of the time running from wall to wall and screaming. Apparently she's a manager?? Who was the dumbass that let her in charge? She clearly doesn't know anything. read more

Rude, rude, rude. I have shopped here several times because they have good deals but today the Hispanic woman at the far register was nothing but rude. I walked in with my milk tea and she shouts all the way from her register "we don't allow drinks in here, there's a sign on the door!". This store is very hit and miss. The store is basically Ross's cheaper, sluttier, younger sister. They sell a lot of clothes with spandex and fishnet style tops. They have some cute accessories, and cheapy clutch purses with an occasional find like a Michael Kors, Betsy Johnson, or other bag. read more

Poorest service from their employees and the store is always a mess, ive never felt so offended...here's my recount Came in shoe shopping with my 3 boys and my niece, were back at the shoe aisle looking around and trying shoes on, all of a sudden this lady named linda came up to me and said "are all of them your kids?" i said yes the boys are but she is my neice, she says" ok i was just making sure you keep them with you" i asked her why and she said " if you come to the dressing rooms ill tell you why" so i followed her and she was telling me that i need to keep the kids with me because they have women coming over from the laundry mats and leaving their kids there and the store associates call the police and CPS comes...ummmmm i came shoe shopping not from the laundry mat.. and she responded i know im just letting you know...so your telling me she passed up the mom whos kid was running up and down the aisle just to tell me to keep them with me? really i mean is it necessary?not even two minutes later i heard the "loss prevention"(what a joke i mean c'mon its a discount store) guy from the front voice over the PA system that all children must be kept close by their parents...and i get to the register and the lady named "ana" didnt even respond when i said hello to her... ok i can let that go but when she starts talking to the guy behind me when i was in the middle of asking her a question that is where i draw the line, your store would get a minus score if it was an option for me... you are losing my service and i hope everyone else who reads this post leaves your store too... I would recommend shopping at walmart before DD's, at least you know your buying something cheap that is not going to last. I bought what seemed to be a nice comforter set and it couldn't withstand even the first wash the manufacture suggests. Of course with no intention of returning it I didn't keep the receipt and DD's would not even do an in store exchange. I highly doubt that they would ever discount a California King comforter set down to 49 cents but that is what the manager claimed. He even knew that it was marked down before the cashier even scanned it. They were willing to give me a 49 cent in store credit... sounds like a loophole scam if you ask me. read more

This place had terrible customer service. They were extremely rude to a young lady trying to purchase some sunglasses by telling her "Oh no this register is closed, go to the other one." They were just standing doing nothing talking amongst themselves. And then they wouldn't give us a discount for a banged up toy. The cardboard was all ripped and the toy was hanging from the packaging. The man said "I don't think we could even give you 5% off. But I guess well do it." Good thing I don't live around here.
