I ended up ordering the Chocolate Lady waffle which included a waffle with dark chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, cocoa nibs, and roasted buckwheat. Waffles came out about 10 minutes after ordering. While this may seem like a longer wait, there was a large group of us and only one worker making the waffles. The waffles itself were very flaky and not heavy at all. After hearing that they were "diet friendly" waffles, in understood why. Honestly, the waffle didn't have a ton of flavor. The rich chocolate sauce atop with the ice cream saved it in my opinion. While they were lighter than maybe a traditional Belgian waffle, I don't think this is anywhere close to a traditional Belgian waffle. I appreciated the presentation and better ingredients, but I was a little disappointed. I enjoyed my waffle here, but if you are seeking an authentic Belgian waffle, look elsewhere. This is an excellent spot for people with dietary restrictions though. These waffles are also much pricier than ones you'll find in the area and they are not very filling.
