It was my first time here getting pizza and it was great! There was a really small dine in area. Good luck finding parking. Service was fast but nothing spectacular. I ordered the large meats lover pizza and it was really good! A little too oily for my liking but it was still good.

The Works...tastes better than my photo!

REVIEW ABOUT THEIR PIZZA DOUGH AND HOW MY PIZZAS TURNED OUT AS I USED IT AT HOME: *Ordered 50 dough balls* for my outdoor wood fired pizza oven party. We picked it up on Friday (it was drizzling). The half sheet pan I brought was a mere dream-- it wouldn't have stood a chance to the dough. 50 dough balls, 3 heavy duty sheet pans of it. Insane! Michael came out and helped carry the trays to the car for us. Since we were prepping for a big party, we only had one section of the fridge available for the tray. We stacked the dough on top of each other, separating it with parchment paper and some more cling wrap. We wanted to trap the moisture in because our fridge doesn't get as cold as the walk in fridges at the restaurant. We worked as fast as we could to transfer the dough to one pan but during that time a few of the dough balls began rising! The next day, the dough had tripled in size in the fridge. Honestly I was a bit scared we ruined it! Luckily, it was ok. We remade them into tightly fitted dough balls and then let them rise 30 min ish outside the fridge as we fired up our oven. At max heat (2 hours later), the oven was +900F and we were cooking pizzas under 3-5 minutes. Cranking out combo pizzas for our family left n right. The pizza dough cooked beautifully and was not raw for any of them! Even if we used our hands (the non experienced pizza dough makers, couldn't work them flat so I brought out the rolling pin). The dough was delicious and we had about 11 dough balls left over for a +70 crowd. I'd use DeLuca's Pizza dough balls again if I ever had another party! We called in advance and scheduled when we would pick it up. For 50 balls, it costed $100 ($2 per ball). That's a really good price! I contacted several other pizza spots around San Diego and their prices ranged from $3-6. DeLuca's was the best pricing! Also, when we came into the restaurant the pizza smelled incredible. I know next time I'll have to grab a slice. (And return the trays).

Was in the mood for some pizza and I was in the north park neighborhood. So I search for pizza and this was the closest spot. The cashier recommended the two best pizzas were the bbq chicken and Bianca pizza (4 different cheeses ) . So we got those and they were so good, my favorite was the bbq pizza. We also got some wings and we shared the shrimp Alfredo pasta. Definitely coming back to try some more different pizza and pastas.

Another great pizza! :) This time Hawaiian. I tried their choc chip cake and it is delicious!

We placed an order for pick up for some calzones. When we got there, the guy was on his phone, and was kind of rude when he asked us what we were there for. We told him we were there to pick up calzones and he gave us someone else's to go order, and we knew it was the wrong one because he handed us pasta, even though we specifically said 2 calzones. So, the service wasn't the best. I hope it's better when people dine in. As for the taste, we'll, it wasn't anything memorable. It was decent, but it didn't particularly leave me wanting more.

I had pasta Orecchiette We raviolis with crab and shrimp Chicken parmigiana And a smoked mozzarella ravioli with eggplant Di Melazame everything was delicious And we had Caprese to start with a large heirloom Tomato slices the was so tasty too We all enjoy every bite until we couldn't And they bought out a dessert Nutella cheesecake That was sweet of them Plus tiramisu we ordered It was funny there was 2 ladies celebrating by our table their birthday's too same day also It was a perfect birthday

We asked if there were any tables available inside and were told no because they were being saved for other guests, even though there were empty tables for two. It was a bit chilly and windy outside, and we weren't the only ones asking to sit inside. I even watched one of the indoor tables get up and leave shortly after, which made the whole situation even more frustrating. That already left a bad impression, but we decided to stay and give the food a chance. Stinco Di Agnello: 4.5/10 The portion size was great and the dish looked delicious when it came out, but that was about the only positive. The lamb shank was overcooked, a little dry, and lacked the rich flavor you'd expect. Even the sauce couldn't save it. The pasta had a grainy texture, and the mushroom sauce was so weak that you could barely taste it. On top of that, the plate was too small, so the lamb sauce kept mixing into the mushroom sauce and completely threw off the dish. Saltimbocca Alla Romana: 3/10 This was honestly unacceptable. We specifically ordered the steak medium rare, and it came out well done. That's not a small mistake. It's one of the most basic things to get right. We didn't send it back because we didn't want to sit there waiting for another entree or waste the food, but it was tough, dry, and not enjoyable to eat at all. The sauce was bland and added nothing to the dish. The potatoes were the only thing worth eating. They also only serve wine and beer, so don't expect cocktails. The only reason this review isn't even lower is because our server was kind, attentive, and did a great job. I've given this restaurant multiple chances over the years, and every visit has been disappointing in one way or another. The ambiance wasn't great either. Between being seated outside in the cold, the noise, and the overall atmosphere, it definitely didn't feel like a place I'd choose for a date night. At this point, I can't justify coming back. There are far too many great Italian restaurants around to spend your money on food that is consistently underwhelming and poorly executed. Food: 3/10 Service: 8.5/10

Parking down here definitely isn't easy, but we luckily found a spot nearby. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet when we arrived, which I'm sure had a lot to do with the game. We were the only guests at first, but by the time we left there were several other tables dining. From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely phenomenal. Our server made us feel so welcomed. We ordered: * Focaccia Bread: I personally would have liked it a little crispier, but you could tell it was fresh, and it had really nice flavor. * Burrata & Strawberry Salad: light, refreshing, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I added a little balsamic vinaigrette for extra flavor, but overall it was fantastic. * Amatriciana (with added meatballs$: you can add meatballs for $7, and they also offer add-ons like shrimp or burrata for around $6-$8. The homemade pasta completely stole the show. The noodles were fresh, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best pasta I've had in San Diego. The meatballs were huge, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Two was the perfect amount. To top it all off, they surprised me with flan and a dessert wine for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special. Overall, this place absolutely lived up to the hype. The restaurant is cute, clean, and welcoming. The service was outstanding, and the in-house pasta is incredible. Prices are a little on the higher side, but with the location and quality, it's completely worth it. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived until the moment we left.

This place is wow…read more Came to San Diego for a weekend trip and we wanted some Italian. We were able to make a reservation on open table for 12pm on a Saturday for 6 people and a baby. There is only street parking so you may need to drive around a block or two. The restaurant has both patio seating and indoor. The patio seating feels like you're in Rome with the chairs and decor matching a Roman Fraschetta. Our server Cosimo was wonderful! He took the wonderful to a different level with his Italian charisma. There is an extensive drink menu, all the pastas, pizzas, and other Italian dishes. We went with all of the recommendations that Cosimo made- 4 pizzas and 4 pastas. All were delicious. We also enjoyed the Tiramisu. If you want authentic Italian food and vibes go to Forchetta!

We ordered a little bit of everything, including appetizers, pizzas, and pasta. What surprised me most was how light everything tasted. The brightness and freshness of the dishes really made the overall experience stand out. Our favorite dishes at the table were the Nicola and Juna pizzas, along with the gnocchi carbonara. By the way, this is a fork and knife place for everything. This place is definitely a carb overload, but absolutely worth it. Come for the classics, stay for the vibes :)
