We'd planned to have a three course meal there but we were only able to have a starter and a main. The food took ages to come. Our main meal was served about 35 minutes into the meal. Come 10pm the staff couldn't have been more rude and were desperate to throw us out. Tutting away at us saying loudly "When are they going to leave?" to each other. They came over and told us in a very rude manner that we could have dessert...IF we wanted but they made it clear to us that they would rather us leave instead. We were only in there an hour from start to finish. We were waiting such a long time for the food to come. If they were so eager to close early they shouldn't have offered us a late booking in the first place. They told us that the bar was still open if we wanted to relax after our meal but we were so offended by their service we declined. Wouldn't go again, haven't been since and certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want a really good romantic Italian in Wigan this isn't your place.

Got the order after waiting 25 minutes and didn't have a chance to check what they'd given me. Pizza was a poor excuse for what I ordered. Skimpy, non-existent toppings. Nothing stuffed in the soggy crust I paid an extra £2.50 for. And we were given 2 basic tomato cheese individual pizzas in error. That was my first and last visit there and felt the £23.49 was a lot of money for poor quality pizzas. I'll stick to my local independent pizza take away in future where you pay £7 for a 14" monster pizza and get a free, tasty 12" cheesy garlic bread.

Neither the chili nor garlic sauces have anything distinguishing about them other than the stains they leave. If you can wait 2 minutes longer, you're bound to found something better.
