Made a reservation online and my seat at the counter facing the hot kitchen was ready upon arrival. Service throughout the evening was cordial. I loved the open kitchen concept along with the "window" that the staff would open when speaking with diners. Back of the house staff wore a uniform t-shirt and some wore a glove? Opted for the Bib Gourmand menu and started off with the duck pate. Wasn't a big fan of the pate as it had a different texture along with some chicken liver...perhaps it's an acquired taste? The table presentation had sourdough along with some soft butter. The bread was also lackluster... Opted for the pork as the main course and loved how it was still pink on the inside! The pork was put on the grill so I'm pretty sure it was cooked as it was warm in the middle. The pork itself was flavorful and seasoned with merely a bit of pepper. The mashed potatoes on the bottom were decent too. The veal tongue bits and the sauce was pretty salty and the sauce was a touch too over-powering...bummer. Meal ended off with the ice cream which I didn't quite understand as it felt like it came from a soft serve machine along with a cookie from a pre-packaged box... did I just walk into Denny's?!? Water was 4 Euro 50. 46 Euro 50 for dinner.

Actually, I would probably go as far as calling it an Old Man Pub, namely because it seems to be one of those bars that is more for the locals as opposed to tourists like me, which does mean that you get some odd stares when you walk inside (and they probably aren't looking for Yelp reviews which would result in Yelpers descending upon the place). Nice place for a beer, but pretty standard.
