Soft sourdough with lots & lots of hunks of semisweet chocolate to give it a little bit of sweetness but combined with the sourdough It was bread perfection! Whenever I'm in Antwerp, I'm a regular customer at the Domestic, which I first discovered thanks to my airbnb host five years ago. Their fruit tarts are light and flavorful, a real treat with a weekend coffee (this is probably the only place where I don't feel guilty about indulging in pastries!). Their pistolets and bread are very good, too (esp. rye and wholegrain) - much better, in my opinion, than at Goossens, where everything tastes spelt. Super friendly service.
