MILD X-RATED MUSEUM…read more.. We were told not to miss this Amsterdam attraction. The entrance was sexy and inviting. Paid 10€ and it was well worth it. Spent about thirty minutes gawking at three floors of erotic paintings and motion sex exhibits. Recommend this self guided tour learning about the old Amsterdam sex world. Humor is part of this museum but not for children, fragile humans or the faint hearted. Did not post most of the videos or pics on Yelp for obvious reasons.

There are a good number of LNP (language no problem) productions as well, which is good if you are learning Dutch, or even if you have no intentions of assimilating. The bar/restaurant is nice and cosy, even for groups, and serves good entrees, including vegetarian options. Decently priced, great performances, and you get to support the local arts scene. It's a good bargain.

It was huge! Food trucks everywhere, cooking classes, bean bags to relax on, music, etc. we tried a lot of food and drinks from delicious in and tonics, Asian style hot dog, salmon, mini burgers, their famous poffertjes, and fruity popsicles.

The exhibit features plastinated human bodies and organs and is organized by system. It really puts things in perspective--it is absolutely WILD to see how many blood vessels are in your feet, for example. Alongside the bodies and organs themselves are clear descriptions that include information about them--for instance, we can see a comparison of a healthy brain next to one that is affected by dementia. We can see what a joint replacement looks like inside the body. You can see the difference between a smoker's lungs and a non-smoker's lungs, the difference between a healthy liver and one with cirrhosis, and what the insides of arteries look like. It's really wild, and woven throughout are reminders of how our bodies and our choices can contribute to our happiness,

I did like everything I saw and it was super interesting to see all these bodies molded into different shapes and cut in different ways. Very interesting and also informative. I'm giving it 4 stars because although it was great and there were lot to see, I think it needs to be updated and cleaned up. Some things were super dusty meaning it has not had great up keep.
