We planned to eat outside in the really really nice garden but it was pouring rain so we went inside. Inside was really nice too. The ceilings are very tall and the place is very airy. The light fixtures make it very very difficult to take photos. The building was and old mint and the bathrooms are in old vaults. Take a walk around the building.
I give it a five stars for its plant-based menu and lovely staff. The concept is that you order a lot of things and then share which is lovely. I give them 5 Stars for the concept and the fact that they tried really really hard. In reality the execution had several of the things tasting the same. I loved all the handmade dinner plates and serving pieces, but the bowls made sharing difficult. Our favorites were the roasted carrots and the beyond burger sliders. The highlight of the meal were the desserts. We almost didn't order dessert but ended up sharing one piece of the carrot cake and one piece of red velvet. These 5 star cakes saved the meal!
I subtract a star for the fact that they do not take credit cards or CASH! Only local debit cards, which means that we could not pay for dinner. We were taking our daughter and her friend out to dinner and unfortunately they ended up having to pay as our US cards we're not accepted. This is kind of crazy. And pretty embarrassing. read more
