Drove 4 hours to pick up a 4 runner that was supposed to run great with no issues except it needed…read morenew tires. He seemed to be a nice guy, and was telling me what great reviews he has gotten from his buyers... Me being a trusting person took his word about the deal and the vehicle condition.......When I got there, the first thing I noticed was a huge crack in the windshield all the way across it. I took it for a test drive and it ran terrible, stumbling and bucking back and forth, could not even get it up to 50 mph. I drove it about a mile and was able to get it back to the TNT Automotive parking lot. Went back inside and told him that that thing runs like crap. He told me his mechanic that had many years of experience had checked it out, fixed a few things and took it for test drive and it ran great... So the owner wanted to see for himself and drove it with me in the passenger side. The same thing happened when he drove it as well. We got back to the dealership and tried to come up with a solution as to what to do next. I said I did not want it and he said since I had already paid for it, there was nothing he could do.... Then he offered to give me a $600 refund in order to have a mechanic fix whatever the problem was with it. I still did not want to take it and he said that was all he could do. So I told him if he refunded me $500, then I would take it. Yes, I did not even take him up on the $600 refund, I only asked for $500 back. He promised me he would send $500 back via Zelle from his bank. So I rented a uhaul trailer and hauled it back 4 hours back home. The next day, I let him know that I had requested the $500 refund through Zelle, and he said "Alrighty Sir"....That was the last time I've heard from him!!! After numerous messages to him over the next 2 weeks, he still did not get back to me. BUYER'S BEWARE Update - It has been Almost 2 months since I was promised a $500 refund from TNT Automotive L.L.C. and the owner has not send the money and won't answer my messages. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

I called and got no answer. I called again, and left a voicemail.... I never got a response. So I went to J&J car wash and detailing in Dunn where they got me in immediately and had me out the door looking great for half the cost. And certainly less sketched out. Service department replaced battery in my wife's car that didn't need replacement. Car had an issue…read morethat drained the battery but I took the old battery home and had it tested. Found to be good and was able to recharge. But since it wasn't an AC Delco battery they would have cover the battery replacement under warranty. Charge was 270 for the battery and 150 to install.
