The aim of Kiehl's is to be as ethical as possible. I do not know about ethical but they certainly have a cult following. I on the other hand almost dropped the goods in disbelief when I looked at the prices. £27.50, £34.00 for a body lotion. Almost thirty-five pounds for a body lotion? Are you frickin crazy? I'd accept this if I was purchasing a litre of body lotion, but £30+ for a 250ml bottle - Come on! With Kiehl's products being mostly out of my price range and I a hardcore cocoa butter fan, I met my Superbly Restorative Body Lotion with Fairly Traded Argan gift from my lady with curious equanimity. After a day of usage I take my hat off to the product. It rubs into my skin easily, isn't greasy and leaves me smelling of freshly ripened citrus. I feel like a recently bathed baboon sitting high up in the canopy of the rainforest.

They are sometimes too greasy or too fragrance-y, in my opinion. It's either this or that, but their products are never quite right when they're on my skin. Neal's Yard is a cute place, and there's indeed a court yard. The service was prompt and friendly, and they have a large selection of organic made skin care products (from massage oil, shower gel to moisturizer). Encouraged by my friend who's a big fan of this place, I bought a bottle of massage oil and a tube of moisturizer. To my surprise, they actually work pretty well. They smell natural and gentle, don't feel too greasy, and they keep my skin moisturized against London's (shockingly) dry weather. And they are actually quite affordable, comparing to other big brand skin care product. If you are shopping in the Covent Garden area, go check it out. Chances are you can find something for yourself or your beloved ones. There is also an organic cafe just right next door to it in the same court yard.

It's amazing quality products made with natural, organic ingredients that are good for body, soul and the planet. It's great sustainable packaging. It's truly low prices. Great salespeople who are knowledgeable and can help with a specific need or to establish an entire routine with skin care, teas, aromatherapy, soaps and body balms to transform body and mind. The spa next door is an excellent way to relax, reinvigorate and try their products. The geranium bath soak is a favorite. Wild rose beauty balm is something i do not want to live without, it can be used a million ways, as a cream, lip balm, face wash, mask and is just an addiction. It's great for the cuticles and absolutely essential in cold weather that's so harsh on our skin. Absolute rose aromatherapy is natural rose extract and it makes my bedroom smell like a bouquet of roses. I add a few drops to a spray bottle to make a room spray. Its divine. I spray on pillows before sleep and use it as air freshener in my bathroom. They have incredibly gentle and natural products for babies and kids. Their diaper rash cream saved my little one from irritation. Why don't we have this in the states?
