This was a pretty awesome place, particularly since it happens to double as a craft place. In fact it looks like a place people come to do arts and craft, and they happen to have coffee and tea on hand. It was a pretty charming place, and while I'm not particularly artsy, I still liked. read more

No trip to Nottingham is complete without a visit to this local gem! Part gift shop, part DIY craft headquarters, and part tea room (!), Debbie Bryan's never fails to inspire and delight both myself and my husband. I find myself wanting "one of everything" in the shop when I visit, so consider yourself warned! Located in the historic Lace District, it's only appropriate that Debbie also sells artworks featuring old lace patterns salvaged from a former local factory. There's many other artsy, cool and interesting shops & restaurants to be found close by in the 'hood so it's worth making an afternoon of it. Truly delightful! read more

This shop is simply jaw-dropping with the large, equisite selection of one-off handmade quality contemporary designer items in scarves, lamps, jewellery, pottery, art...I could go one. It is so beautifully displayed, you feel like you are in an Aladdin's Cave of treasures! I was so impressed with the lamps and wall-art I decided to enrol on one of the many design workshops held here and I was so impressed with how well we were all looked after and with the results of my own handywork! I came away feeling truly pampered. Every time I go to this shop it has altered in some way and has new ranges to entice, always exciting and refreshing. This shop and studio is the perfect antidote to the hum-drum "safe" ranges peddled in the high street stores. It's a "must see, buy and try". read more

This shop is truly lovely! A real fined! I stumbled across Debbie Bryan's about a year ago after a recommendation from a friend, and it has become a must for gifts for all my friends (and myself!) ever since! There is such a selection of unique British made design work, every time i visit it is totally different! I have also attended a couple of fantastic design workshops held in the shop, and Both were brilliant! I had a lovely time, meeting interesting people, drinking tea and being creative! I cant recommend a visit enough! read more
