There isnt a huge selection of clothes but they are always changing so that is good. The store is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. What is different is that most clothes stores are independent business selling unique fashion items. This store sells high quality clothing for woman and child. It has a large shop full of dresses, jackets and pants. The prices are cheap and affordable and good quality too. There is no reason not to shop here, as you are going to save yourself loads of money and the money is cheap too.

I was surprised when I visited this store and found a few dresses that I really loved. I ended up buying a couple of things and my perception was changed a little. Next like Gap is an expensive basics place, and whilst the quality is good, it's really overpriced for what it offers. For me the best bit of Next is the kid's clothing department, as they really do provide some lovely kidlet wear, and I often find it a good emergency shop place for whenever someone's kidlet is getting older or yanno it's Christmas or something. The ladies selection of clothing bores me, it's not quite trendy or funky enough to rival what Free Sprit and places of that ilk offer/ed but it almost tries to insist it is. The formal wear is indeed formal, and whilst not being TopShop, it seems more often to lean towards the middle aged stylings of Principals and Wallis lately. For fellas, the suit department is rather lovely, and being dragged around at the elbow with various boys too self concious to pick out a suit on their own, the Next suit dept, really do a good job at off the peg tailoring that looks bespoke when worn without breaking the bank and being boring too. Ladies' tailoring isn't quite as funky as the Men's and harks back to that middle aged isse, which is fine, yanno, if you're middle aged.

If you do venture further into the store, it's actually quite good, especially if there's a sale on. They've got loads of concessions instore and many of what I call almost-designer brands such as John Rocha, Jasper Conran, Ben Sherman and the likes. These are definitely overpriced, but when they've knocked the obligatory 50% and 20% blue cross discount on top then they're not bad at all.

There is a lovely cafe called style cafe which does meals and there are some great jewellery and cosmetics counters to browse and try.

They do a huge range of goods all under the one roof at fantastic and sometimes stupid prices. They do food, drink, toys, linen, toiletries, etc all at under average prices. They are the top notch best makes and not a cheap copy of the top makes which makes it even better. The only bugbear is the fact that the shop gets so busy and you end up having to queue for about 30 minutes but with the bargains you end up getting it is well worth it. The store is always nice and clean and well stocked - the stock changes every couple of days too which keeps the excitement factor going too. The staff are nice and friendly usually even when the store is absolutely heaving.

This particular store is located in Forster Square Retail Park. Car parks always busy due to football stadium being close by so foten have to wait for spaces. This store also seems busier than others so can be a lot of hussle and bussle inside and have queued at the checkout for up to 10 minutes on more than one occasion. Bargains to be had for all ages so well worth a visit if you have the time to browse and queue.

Some of their stuff is slightly expensive but it is nice quality so can't really complain. Also I once bought a dress there in the sale that was £45 reduced to £3!! So they do have decent sales! I was having a bit of a mooch around town and I ended up along Vicar Lane, which isn't my usual area of browsing I must say. Having always walked past Flannels, and not really thought much of it, I saw a divine dress in their window and so decided to nip in. For a start I nearly accosted a guy walking into him as I tried to enter their doors, which was enough of a scene to attract the attention of the two store guys, so head hung in shame I apologised and briskly walked over to my beacon of fashion - the dress. I noticed then that although it was on display in the window it was pretty much the only women's item on show down here and so became really aware that it appeared that I was shopping in the men's section! Irk. Not the case. I quickly glanced at the price tag, feeling the laser beam eyes in my back still watching me from my prior clumsiness, and saw the fee for my beautiful garment. £900 odd pounds. Yeah. I left pretty instantly after that. And they totally knew why. I can almost hear their thoughts now, in my head. "She's too poor to shop here." Gah, how embarrassing! Beautiful clothes, I am sure. But not, in my humble pauper's opinion, worth a third of an MA degree, not worth a third of a good car, not worth a MacBook Pro. God no. Not for a mere dress!

They have a bespoke tailoring service, which makes me shudder to think of the price as most of the ready to wear clothing here is way out of most people's price range. I saw a coat for over £700. Seven hundred pounds. There is womenswear in the adjacent room, full of high end designer pieces. There are some very pretty pieces, though in the sale a top was still over £100. Upstairs there's loads more womenswear including shoes and accessories. Again the design of the shop is vary spacious and minimalist with hangers set at fixed points on the rails to make everything have a streamlined, ordered appearance. It's a pleasure to browse, though if you're skint like me the enjoyment is somewhat stifled by the inability to bring yourself to even try anything on! Men's casual wear is also upstairs with a general feel of understated classic chic. This is a shop for people with cash to splash - I imagine wealthy businessmen nipping in on their lunch break to pick up a 'little something' to impress their love interest, for whom only the best will do.
