I have very fond memories of this mall because when I used to work on ships, this was where I would…read morecome to hang out when docked in Southampton. There was reasonably priced food, wifi, and I could get a little shopping in. This was 15 years ago.
Glad to see 15 years later, this mall is still kicking, and they have really built up this area a lot more. They still have a nice mix of stores, although some of their kiosks are gone, like their Whittard's kiosk. The food court wasn't bad, although I did notice a couple places were empty. There is still wifi, although that's less of an issue now. And they still have the M&S, thankfully.
If you're going on a cruise, and have some time to kill, I think this mall is a great stop, especially considering there are other things in the area too if you get bored with the mall. There is another mall in the area, but that one is a little more empty, whereas West Quay still seems to have a crowd.
