Consistently gave appointments to my wife at times where you will show up but than sit in the waiting area for at least an hour. If they know how long it takes for a patient, why not give appointments accordingly rather than just bulking it all up just to increase the intake. For example, a single appointment setting would give us a 10.30 am for fetal scan and than a doctor's appointment at 11 am. But than we would never see the technician till 11.30 making us late for the doctor's appointment. Same issue would persist art doctor's than because you will be late and wait there for God knows how long. Seriously problematic. E.g., for our last appointment (wife was 40+ weeks pregnant), making a pregnant women so far along just sit in the waiting area is not "good care" Not sure if this is because the staff is ordered to increase the intake and take as many patients in as "possible" or just carelessness or disregard to such obvious and easy fix issues.

The downside of that is your annual exam is maybe 10 minutes and other visits, you see Dr. Hardwick-Smith for less than 5 minutes. The first time you visit Dr. Hardwick-Smith, she sits you down in her office and you talk. She's personable and is observant. She takes notes in your patient file so she can engage in conversation during the few minutes you have with her. If you don't get to see her, she's staffed her office with a few other doctors. It's like she has them admit headshots with their resume because the entire staff is gorgeous. Decor is nice and personal. There's portraits of children/families all over the office. Be prepared to pay for parking in the attached garage. UNLESS... you want to park over at Hermann Park and take a nice 1 mile walk to the office.

I asked the NP Ashley if that was harmful , to which she replied "I'm not sure, but better safe than sorry." Which was a little unsettling for me. I thought to myself "You don't know...?" Moving on to my next concern...I have spent well over $2,000.00 for testing and 2 appointments with KALE, I was prescribed supplements for my gut issue, picked them up and started taking them a month ago. After taking my supplements for a month, I received a phone call a few days ago saying they prescribed me the wrong supplement and that I need to order a different one instead. Well, of course this raised another red flag because I'm pregnant and there are MANY things I cannot take while pregnant. I asked if there were any negative side effects to taking this supplement while pregnant that could harm the baby - and the guy on the phone was not sure and would have to ask the doctor. So I looked it up online and It is NOT recommended for women while pregnant. Received a phone call back and he informed me it was ok.....Are you guys just trying to save your ass? The third issue that arises is that I have food sensitivity to beef and they told me to put beef tallow on my face for skin issues I'm encountering. Mind you, this was prescribed before the results came in...but does no one go over the files of their patient to make sure things are still copacetic after results are in? I'm just dumbfounded. I don't even know if it would affect me the same as ingesting it, but geez. Come on guys. I really wanted to like this place. I understand we are human and all make mistakes, but these are not small mistakes especially when a woman is carrying another life inside of her. Ashley was attentive to my concerns about my health, ordered the right tests for us to get answers to the health problems I was experiencing, and was mindful of my budget with all of her recommendations on supplements and testing that were necessary for the insights needed. She has been very responsive and helpful with changing direction of some of these recommendations as we get more data. Staff told me the forms are normally sent only 24 hours before the appointment. I repeatedly explained that I had multiple medical records to upload into the portal and wanted the physician to have adequate time to review them before the appointment. On Friday, I was specifically promised that the forms would be emailed Monday. Monday came, and nothing was sent. I called several more times and was repeatedly transferred without receiving the paperwork, an explanation, or a resolution. I eventually spoke with Maria Christina. It sounded as though she was driving or otherwise distracted, so I asked three times whether she was available to speak with me. Each time, she responded in a condescending and dismissive tone, "I'm speaking with you." When I asked why the forms were still unavailable after a week of calls and promises, she did not answer my question, provide an explanation, or offer a resolution. Instead, she abruptly stated, "We're going to cancel your appointment." This office turned a basic request for routine patient paperwork into a week-long runaround and then cancelled the appointment rather than provide the forms, explain the delay, or resolve the issue. The administrative service was completely unprofessional and disorganized.
