Since they treat multiple people at the same time in one room (which is NOT a problem for the client, trust me) they are able to drive their cost per session WAY down. I've looked at other acupuncturists in the area and they are literally 3X the price. 2) Staff. Not only are Rachel, Katie and Anne-Louise super duper friendly, but they really take the time to listen to you before your appointment. The thing I tell people when I recommend acupuncture and Oriental medicine, is that it works by STRENGTHENING your body and your natural healing systems. So even if something isn't cured, you're likely to feel better and be in better general health, as well as a better position to take allopathic medicine if you still need to. For instance, when I needed to take an allopathic medicine that was very hard on my liver, after some months I had "the shakes," (I couldn't keep my hand steady, and even my jaw was jittery). I had no idea that it was from the medicine. Verena saw this symptom, commented that it was a sign of a weakened liver, and successfully treated it--by strengthening my liver! I don't think she even knew I was on that medication, she just treated the weakened part of my system, and it worked. Don't just treat the symptom with Western medicine--heal the core weakness causing the symptoms. This is what Accupuncture and Oriental Medicine can do, and Verena is top notch at it!

It was partly this peaceful environment and partly Jennifer's gentle manner that had me totally calm and relaxed in minutes. I had never had shiatsu before and I have to tell you.. Try shiatsu some time in your life! It's not just a normal massage feeling. It's transformative. I felt it in my whole body.
