My experience was not as bad as many other reviewers. My order was processed right away. I got an automated email with a tracking number the day after my purchase. My order shipped from the Netherlands. It was in transit for 10 days, and delivered within the estimated delivery window. The problem: the goggles were not tinted. The webpage showed tinted swim goggles and used the phrase "Lenses: smoked" in the description. Other than the lack of tint, the goggles were exactly as described, and arrived brand new in the package and in perfect condition. However, I specifically chose to order from swimINN because they were one of the only places where I found an offer for the model of goggles I wanted with tinted lenses but a clear strap. So the main feature I sought was not actually delivered. And now, like others, I am finding that it is not worth the expense of shipping a return overseas.

The second parcel arrived in Norway but could not be collected because it was registered as Cash on Delivery (COD) for approximately NOK 1,200 when it was already paid for. This was not customs duties or VAT. Those charges had already been paid, and I had proof of payment. I contacted Posten Norway several times, and they consistently told me that the shipment was registered with a COD charge and that only the sender (Tradeinn) could remove or correct it. As the recipient, there was nothing I could do. I then contacted Tradeinn multiple times, clearly explaining the situation. Instead of investigating the issue, I repeatedly received the same standard response claiming that the amount was customs or VAT. It was obvious that my messages were either not being read or not understood. The most frustrating part was not the shipping problem itself, it was the lack of customer service. Mistakes can happen with any company. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, Tradeinn repeatedly ignored the actual issue and failed to take the simple step that the carrier requested: contacting them to correct the COD registration. If you are considering ordering from Tradeinn, be aware that if something goes wrong with your shipment, you may have great difficulty getting meaningful support. Based on my experience, customer service relied on generic replies rather than addressing the actual problem. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Tradeinn based on the way this issue has been handled.
