This was my big leap, first time in chair during pandemic and first time since big chop. Austin put me at ease. The shop employees were masked, taking temps and cleaning in between clients. There was only one client before me being finished off. I was asked to sit in one chair at the door to wait. Awesome! I was a little nervous about describing what I wanted but after a couple questions the cut was off and running. Austin was professional and we had easy conversation. The shop atmosphere is also great. Various inspiring quotes on the walls, I can see why my nephew likes the vibe here. I am very happy with my haircut.

I visited this location several times during the past year or so. Overall, I felt the quality of…read moremy haircut was good (although on the high $ side) compared to other similar places. What disturbs me is the tip choice offered upon checkout. Choices start with $10.00 (yes dollars) on a $23.00 haircut. The next two offered choices are $15.00 then $20.00. Seriously!? They do have an "other" choice which I choose and give a $5.00 tip (22%). To me that is fair. My last experience was today when I noticed an additional $5.00 charge on my receipt bringing my total to $33.00. I went back in the store to ask about this charge and learned that I apparently hit the button to donate $5.00 to children's cancer. Don't recall ever seeing this appear on the screen. Oh well, good cause! I also brought up to the manager about the tip offerings and she rudely let me know that I had discussed this with her on a prior visit and that this was out of her control. She asked if I wanted a refund, again, in her rude tone and I accepted. Sure will.....free haircut and I will never return to this place again. Rudeness will get you nowhere with me. Don't know her name but, short red haired girl. Go elsewhere.
