Disclaimer: I know about as much as the average layman regarding FTP and website uploading but I've never had a problem with other web hosts like GoDaddy or Google.
Story: Deerfield recently upgraded their hardware/servers. In the process of upgrading, they deleted all the files from my friend's fully functional website, making it fully dysfunctional after the move. When attempting to get some support and instructions for how to fix the situation, the support staff (which may or may not be only one person named Dennis) was incredibly user unfriendly and rude. As of right now, the website is still not back up after close to a week and a half of messages with Dennis and his unhelpful demeanor.
All I know is that a comparable domain hosting website like GoDaddy would do everything it could to remedy a situation that they had caused. Maybe Dennis needs to focus more on an attitude/customer service "upgrade" than a hardware upgrade. read more
