Best Decision EVER!…read more Living in Texas, it was difficult planning our wedding in Michigan. But we knew after booking our venue that the photographer would be the most important thing. After much research online (I mean A LOT) we finally met Chris via Skype and within a few seconds decided to book him for our big day. The ultimate BEST DECISION we made for our wedding :) Chris' work definitely speaks for itself. (Just check out his website!) One thing that stood out to us was his candid shots and how each of the weddings he had posted looked extremely different, unique and beautiful in their own way. A lot of other photography sites show weddings where they all look the same and in some cases you cannot really tell them apart. This is what made us fall in love with his work. His work shows his attention to detail and his artistic abilities to capture happy moments. He has received recognition for his work too (again, part of our research) and shows a real passion for his work. But what you may not know from looking at his site alone is that he is awesome to work with. He listened to us carefully, asked questions and really cared about what we wanted. He followed up with us as we got closer to the big day. He was on time with his very helpful assistant (also named Chris, we were super happy to have him there). He worked well with the videographers and took so many shots. He was not sloppy or careless. Instead he made adjustments and used one of the multiple cameras he had wrapped around him at all times. During the day I did not even notice him moving around. But after we got our pictures I could see that he took the most amazing shots. We were so blown away :) In fact, he captured shots we didn't even think of! You would think a bride would remember to take a picture of her long gorgeous train (that took forever to pick!) but with the rush of the wedding it was the last thing on my mind...thankfully Chris captured the most beautiful shot of my entire dress/train on the balcony. It is so beautiful it makes people just say "woooow" every time. I cannot even believe it is me. And this is just one example. Side note: Weddings are hard to pull off, especially from long distance. Chris put us at ease and we were so pleased with his work. I did not worry at all about the pictures and that made for the best experience. So don't procrastinate and book early!! (it is way more important than food and napkins :P) Lastly, the delivered CD was so amazing (the pictures, the cover, just the classy presentation) that we ordered two more for the parents. They loved it as much as we did. These pictures make us smile, laugh and cry and we have the most amazing memories now framed to share with others forever and this is thanks to Chris. We are so grateful and truly blessed. I swear, these pictures are the most important thing to me (the bride) from the wedding. My husband would probably say seeing me walk in with my dad or marrying me was the most important thing (because he is a sweetheart lol)...but second to that, the pictures :) Thanks Chris.

She is very creative and is not afraid to try something new and different. She used thistle for the boutonniere which was something I've never seen before! I got married in Dekalb and she was very flexible with the distance and her schedule. I got a ton of compliments on my bouquet! She is definitely worth every penny!

Rented Peoria Photo Booth for our wedding on 8/2012 and have nothing but great things to say about…read morethem! Reserved them last minute -- we were going to do a booth ourselves but decided to hire someone instead so we wouldn't have to worry about it... we are so glad my sister found them on Facebook! Before the date of the event, worked with Jamin to create a personalized layout with our initial, wedding date and wedding colors for the background of our photo "strips" - decided on a 4x6 odd square layout to be different than your typical 4-photo vertical. Booth is perfect size - 3 can sit on the bench and 4 can stand behind, able to fit 7 in the booth easy, 8 or 9 if you like a challenge. Trunk full of diverse and inspiring props - hats, beards, capes, quintessential mustaches - you name it! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about how fun the booth was to use and how friendly the guy was who was working (I didn't catch his name). And since we picked out an odd layout for our prints, guests only received one photo printout but they could request additional reprints and he was more than willing to reprint numerous times for everyone who was in the booth for that photo. My one and only complaint -- I wish I would've asked him to stay an extra hour longer! By the time my new husband and I were able to take a second alone together to breathe and decide we wanted to go and use the booth together, our time was up and the booth gone. But that was on us, time flew and before we knew it, the day was done. Would 100% use Peoria Photo Booth again if we ever need one for another event! So my husband and I just got family portraits with unscripted motion. (Little back story, when both…read moremy husband and I were younger we absolutely dreaded family portraits as it always ended in yelling and tears by the time we got there from stress, so naturally we thought that was normal of both of our families experienced that) fast forward today. We now gave a 3 month old and really wanted to capture this time as a family. Being incredibly reluctant because of our experiences growing up and now having a newborn, we decided to go for it but were prepared for the worst, as you never know what could go wrong with a newborn and pictures. During our photoshoot our sweet baby girl decided it was a good idea to blow up her diaper so we had to stop everything to change her. Then she decided she was hungry and needed to be fed and then naturally she began to spit up once we began our pictures again. Let me just say this would stress anyone out having to stop so many times in the middle of a photoshoot. BUT NO! THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL!!! They laughed with us, reassured us that it was totally fine and allowed us to take our time taking care of our daughter so we could have an amazing (tear free) experience!! Hands down an amazing company and Im truly SOOOO THANKFUL that they captured our little family of 3 for us! We will ABSOLUTELY use them again as they have taken all the fear and stress of family portraits away! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family! So happy we found them!
