Wow, wow, wow what a disappointment! Good thing I was with friends that I love. I meet 2 GF's at the Del Frisco Grill with much anticipation. Both of them just love it and said one of the best HH's in town. I arrived before them and was seated in the bar at a nice booth. The server was attentive when I got there and got me a drink right away. That VIP martini was really good. However, she took a long time to come back to the table after my friends arrived to take their order. My girlfriend asked her about their "fabulous artichoke beignets." The server said, we don't make those any more, at which point I said "well you have your crispy artichokes on the menu" that will be okay. To which she replied "nope don't have those either" and shrugged it off. I asked if they would be substituting anything and she said nope, we have issues getting things these days. Okay, understandable, but she really seemed like she didn't care at all. We managed to get our drinks and order their cheesesteak eggrolls which took 15 minutes to arrive at our table as we watched others being served. Once they arrived, they were cold and greasy. Finding our server was impossible, and we finally flagged down another who whisked them away and came back a few minutes later with a fresh hot batch, over-fried. GEEZZZZZ. They are really just fair. Next option looked like the Charcuterie Board. Finally, something that was plentiful and beautiful on the board. Yes, this was wonderful, lots of soft and hard cheeses, meats all served with yummy raisin bread, fig jam, marcona almonds etc. So good, that we ran out of bread, and requested more. The server said no problem then disappeared for 10 minutes....no sign of bread. Flagged down another server to get that. Ughhhh Just not fun and frustrating. There is only one thing worse than bad service at a restaurant and that is terrible food. Well, during my celebratory lunch today, this joint treated me to both. Two terrible attempts to cook a medium pork chop only to deliver a near raw glassy-colored mess while the rest of our food was left on the table to get stone cold was proffered in a most ridiculous fashion. This dance of incompetence happened twice until we finally gave up, only to be delivered a doggy bag of snark and a bill for a small appetizer. No manager apologizing for the problems or an attempt to make things right. This place is junk and should be avoided no matter what. read more

Came here because my partner had a giftcard he needed to burn through and it was decent. Wasn't a true steakhouse and definitely had a corporate restaurant vibe which makes sense as it's a Landry's property. Inside, the atmosphere is stylish and inviting with warm wooden accents and floor to ceiling wine displays. But the place can be busy and noisy on weekends. So, when the weather is nice, you may want to take advantage of their great rooftop patio. The menu offers a little bit of everything, from plates to share and sandwiches to signature steaks. Depending on what you order, you can certainly spend a good amount of money, but you don't have to. We decided to share a few plates, and the food was very satisfying for a decent price considering the location. My white sangria was interesting, it came with a strawberry popsicle, kind of like a dessert and a drink combined. Great spot in Cherry Creek, especially for the rooftop patio! read more

Service and ambiance were fine. Food was severely disappointing. I took my Dad out for dinner here on a Friday night, 1/24/2025. He started with the French onion soup and said it was good. I had the Caesar salad, and although the lettuce was fresh and the presentation was good, the dressing lacked flavor and bite. My dad had a Chardonnay which he stated was 'okay,' and I had the Old Fashioned which also was just okay. Certainly wouldn't come here just for the drinks. My Dad had the Filet Mignon ordered medium-well, but arrived well done, almost all grey with very little pink inside. I had the NY strip ordered medium rare, but was absolutely raw in certain places. The flavor and seasoning was spot on for both. He had the mushrooms which were good and I had the fries which were also good. We skipped desert because we were underwhelmed at this point. Bill was 200. Will not eat here again. There are much better places for less money. You would think at the very least that a place linked to a steakhouse chain could at least cook the steaks correctly. read more

We used to live this restaurant, but lately we Find it a huge waste of money. It's close to our home, the atmosphere is ok, but the meal we had last night was like the kitchen is telling you to go somewhere else. I started with cheesesteak egg rolls, one of my favorites , and they were delivered barely heated., they took them off our check, but without drinking alcohol beverages ( I never drank alcohol, but my partner no longer enjoys wine, or even beer out when dining ). Then I had the crab cake, a longtime favorite, and it too was barely warmed. Over the last many months, we enjoy this restaurant less & less. I quit, and you need to know why. Go somewhere where the kitchen enjoys making great food! Just under $100,00, for my husbands oversized colorful but tasteless salad, and my crab cake & eggrolls. I did order 2 cokes, both half ice in the glass, so by the time you drink it it's watered down. This seems to be a growing trend in restaurants. Come in restaurant owners , stop trying to vest your customers. I will no longer be mentally coerced into saying a meal is great or even good, when it's not. read more

I've been excited to try this place for awhile so we decided to go for Easter with the whole family. I love that there is a parking garage with free parking and the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The food isn't bad in any way, it's just nothing special. We were definitely bummed about that. A couple of our orders were wrong which they fixed so that's not factoring into my review, but everything was just...meh.... The dessert we ordered was the worst...a small slice of chocolate torte that was a hard, flavorless thing. We stopped elsewhere afterwards to get good dessert. Dinner tonight was a miss..the cheesesteak egg rolls were as good as last time. But the cheeseburger was dry, over cooked and had a hair half way through! My husband and I cancelled our other steakhouse reservation to try this place for the first time and do we regret coming here.. for a Tuesday night, the server we had was MIA most of the night. Never came to check on how our food was. My husband's ribeye was medium well then what he ordered which was medium rare. We felt like it was on the burner until all our other food was getting prepared. We didn't want to complain because it can happen and it wasn't as if the food was bad. For being a more higher end restaurant, I think I could've gotten better service somewhere else. Before I left, I wanted to talk to a manager and no manager was in sight. Chose this place to celebrate a lifelong friendship. My friend and I came here for dinner after visiting the Blossoms of light!! We were seated promptly & our waiter was quick to attend to us. I have never had someone describe the selections so well! He did such an amazing job that we literally could taste the delicacies that were to come. On top of it he was so fun & friendly. Was wary of going to a steakhouse with my group because they can be hit or miss with vegetarian options. I don't even know why they wanted to go there because I don't think anyone actually ordered a steak. Ordered from the set price menu, because it was the only way I could order the truffle gnocchi. Unlike most truffle cream sauces I've had in the past, the use of truffle oil was limited with more emphasis on the actual mushrooms which I appreciated. The gnocchi itself looked like cloves of garlic and had a similar consistency which took me by surprise. The cheese on top of the dish added a nice contrast in flavour to the cream sauce. The squash bisque was really good and the chocolate peanut butter pie was good although the chocolate crust did not provide much contrast to the peanut butter mousse. The service was impeccable and I appreciated that they didn't force an automatic gratuity for a large group. read more

Having the Del Frisco name, we definitely did not expect such a horrible experience. We had our New Year's Eve dinner here and sad to say, our experience was awful. It didn't start out awful. Hostess was nice, and we were sat on time. The restaurant is at the heart of Cherry Creek and the decor shows it. Too bad the food didn't fit the decor. I ordered the lobster bisque and salmon. The bisque was so salty that I couldn't take more than 3-4 spoonfuls. The salmon's lemon dill was also salty. I added mash potatoes to each bite and the saltiness went away. My wife ordered the Devil'd Eggs and the roasted chicken.The eggs were pretty good but the chicken was undercooked. What really shocked us was when we said this to our server, her response was, "Do you want me to reheat for you?" My wife just told her that we will just take it home and reheat it ourselves. But that went straight to the trashcan. I was hoping that she would at least offer to make my wife a new plate. Hell we would have liked it if she offered an apology. But to just reheat it? We all saw the movie, Waiting, and definitely don't have to have that kind of dish back. We ended the meal with paying our check plus still providing a good tip. Yet our server didn't even say goodbye, Happy New Year, Have a good evening, etc. I'm not sure if we did something to upset her, but the nice hostess did it for her. read more

I came here because they are the same as Del Frisco steak house, WRONG I ordered sirloin medium rare and it was borderline line well done. I would not recommend this place. Well the food was good when it finally came out. Unfortunately they just overbooked themselves for the 6pm reservations and we were told 5 minutes but 6:42pm we were seated. We took a few minutes to decide on our food but then the wait began, at 8pm our food showed up. The t-bone steaks were good, one was a little overcooked. The broccoli was not too good, pieces were raw and other pieces were charred. The burger was good. The fried chicken sandwiches good, was a little light on the sauce and would have loved a few additional pickles. Such a bummer because the last several times I've eaten here, it's been a great experience. Hopefully they can work on the scheduling to avoid such long waits for their hungry customers. read more

The view on top of the restaurant is open and so we experienced an open air environment--which is really reassuring considering COVID. Overall, the refreshments and the food were all delicious!! Went to Del Frisco's in Cherry Creek. It's not living up to Del Frisco's reputation. For a restaurant that use to be a 5 star, I can't understand what has happened to downgrade the quality of their steaks. At best, they are now a 1 star steakhouse. That saddens me because I used to bring my "C" level clients there all the time. I would be embarrassed to take anybody there now. The steaks were beyond bad. Amazing food, but service was lacking. The Food: The filet mignonette was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. We got the truffle butter with it and it's an absolute must have! So flavorful and added so much to each bite. The mashed potatoes weren't anything special, just a basic chunky mashed potatoe. We got an extra side of Brussels sprouts which were tasty but a little undercooked and too crunchy. The drinks were nice, the rose drink had a little popsicle in it which was fun! The chocolate torte was beautiful and the tartness of the raspberry was perfect. The Service: Our waitress seemed out of it as she was serving us the whole night. She seemed a little jittery, and not very present. She forgot to take the empty wine glasses off the table so the table was cluttered. She would disappear for periods of time leaving us with empty water. I wanted another alcoholic drink, so I had to ask a different member of the staff to find her. I watched as he he walked over the entire restaurant looking for her, and then saw him stop and ask two different waiters where she was. I asked her for her help with navigating an allergy, and she forgot that one of the sides had dairy in it, so I had to ask them to make me some thing else after the food has been served. This left me with eating the main course by itself completely and then having my side afterwards alone. She did look busy with other tables, so I understand that. But, I was expecting more from a restaurant of this quality. read more

What a horrible experience. In these Covid days we take extreme measures to chose places that we feel would be exceptional in their protocols. This was not the case this evening. Upon entering, the lobby was packed and there was absolutely no room to stand safely 6 feet apart from other guest. Not only that but there was a table of 8 right at the door so drunk they were yelling across the table at each other sans masks obviously. We made reservations for 7:30 but were told there was a 'huge' pharmaceutical party in the back that they were waiting to leave. Seriously? Thanks for keeping your regulars safe by hosting a huge party in a pandemic. And thanks for also making us wait with 18 people packed in the area. In addition, they kept the music so loud that you had to yell across the table just to hear one another. Who's the GM that had the intelligence here? The food was okay but the female floor manager was the most unprofessional person I have ever come across here. We ordered filets and one looked like 1/2 of a thin flank steak. We asked for another cut and she brought out a smaller and thinner piece. Seriously, it wasn't even a filet. She dropped it off at the table and walked away without even asking if it was satisfactory. This is not the Del Friscos we are used to. I will not return here until we are beyond this pandemic. We sat on the roof for dinner one evening and while the atmosphere is great and the food was good, wasn't impressed with some other things. We ordered drinks to start, but they didn't have the first drink I ordered that was on the menu. I ended up with the vip pineapple vodka and there was a long wait and someone at our table got the wrong drink, but my vodka was very good. They also didn't ask if anything was wrong with the drinks when one of my friends didn't touch hers. I really liked the artichoke beignets and may go back for that. We didn't get any water refills, there wasn't toilet paper in the bathroom, and our bill was wrong. The place has a lot going for it, but the issues come down to service. read more

Came here on a Friday night. They were able to accommodate a last minute reservation for a party of 7. The restaurant is located in Cherry Creek. Plenty of booths as well as a beautiful bar area for seating. Great selection of wine in floor to ceiling wine cases. We ordered the philly cheesesteak egg roll appetizers, artichoke beignets, corn chowder, the salmon, and some of the steaks. I got a lovely 14 oz New York strip perfectly cooked medium rare with a nice crust. Meal was great. Everything we ordered was made well. There wasn't anything we didnt like. Only thing was the wait between our appetizers and entrees was at least 30 min. Which I guess it let me build up my appetite! I'll let you in on a little secret (which isn't a secret at all) Get the Cheesesteak Eggrolls because they are AAAAAAAAmazing! Seriously, they are awesome, and you'll probably have to restrain yourself from ordering like 12 more of them because they're great. The other food was alright but not great. The Wild Mushroom flat bread was good, kind of boring but not bad. The fish and chips were not my favorite and I would not recommend them at all. Great food and ambiance. We had a party of 10 so we had the private room which was a lovely surprise. The VIP drink was delicious, butternut squash soup was good but would've been better had I received a spoon when it was served but it took some time before I finally asked an employee walking by if he could grab me one. My husband had the wedge salad and it looked great! One of our friends had a glass that was cracked all the way up and he noticed after drinking some of it. Glad he didn't have any glass in the beer. Dinner was very good and Everyone enjoyed their food which included steak, chicken and pork chops. Desert was brought out and one of our guests was forgotten and again, we had to flag someone to ask for hers which arrived after the rest of us were done. Not a big deal but I would e or t our server to be more attentive. We chatted for a bit and I was hoping we could get some water refills but we all had empty glasses which were never filled during our dinner. Ordered the wedge salad with rare steak. Grub hub did their job but the restaurant didn't. No silverware for a Togo order?! Duh. Salad was barely thrown together and with about 1 Tbsp of dressing for an entree salad, it wasn't what they advertised on their website. The steak was well done (not rare) and among the toughest pieces of leather I've ever tried to choke down. I threw out 75% of the meal. We decided to have an impromptu date night this evening and a good friend of ours recommended Del Frisco's Grille. Excited to try a new restaurant, we were immediately let down. We stood around waiting to be greeted for almost 5 minutes and once we were, it wasn't the typical, "welcome in" greeting. Instead, we were asked, "what can I do for you". Looking passed the disrespectful greeting and were told we could seat ourselves in the bar area, which we did. Another few minutes later, a server showed up with menus and sat them down without saying a word. Strike two. Finally, our server (I think) showed up with waters, mumbled some words (never introduced himself) and placed two drink menus on the table and walked away. Strike three. I'm more than certain the level of customer service we received was entirely based on our skin color. When walked out, we were enthusiastically spoken to with, "have a good night"! The level of blatant racism was sadly not surprising. A business who can't acknowledge and treat every single person the same, does not deserve our business. read more
