Sprinkle some salt & pepper and then drench it with evoo.. Yep, that's how the Italians were doing it. It's a nice place for dinner if you're a carnivore. Vegetarians beware!

A good way to get in the mood for this restaurant, which is cozy, with nice colours and decorations. The staff speaks sufficient English, were friendly and very correct. We ordered the season menu with suitable wines. The menu consisted of various dishes with white tartuffe. All of those dishese were good to excellent. The highlights were the local molten cheese with poached egg and tartuffo on top, extremely tasty. I myself was in strong favour of the pasta (ravioli stuffed with tartuffo). The antipasta was another taste explosion of beefsteak tartare and carpaccio. To our surprise, the accompagnying wines were all reds, all of them from the Piemonte-region. When you're about to visit Turin (€ 15 for a single flight from Eindhoven), this is one of the restaurants where you can be sure to get a very fine meal.

This place was packed with the locals at lunch time so I knew we had to eat here at some point…read more They had oodles of mussels of all different kinds on the menu, plus pizzas, fish, pasta, etc. I ordered the mussels with parmesan cheese....they were cooked in a white wine butter sauce with garlic and parm sprinkled all over it. So when you are done and you have that bread leftover in your plate...you need to soak it up and then get to the bottom so that bread is not only soaked with the butter, wine and garlic, but there is some cheese on top as well. Pure liquid heaven. My husband ordered the branzini which is a nice white fish, comes out with the head and tail on....nothing I like to see, however, they did the whole fillet thing right there and it was very good. We both enjoyed the meal, atmosphere was nice, not to noisy, servers were very nice. I would recommend going there for sure.
