This is my local Del Taco. There have been times here and there that items have been missing or I felt as though portions were not up to par. This time my experience was awesome. Food was super fresh. Fries piping hot out of the fryer hot. The meat on my regular (not The Del Taco) tacos was perfect to the ratio of lettuce and cheese. My quesadilla was cut all the way through. My soda had just enough ice and carbonation to slap. The lady on the drive thru was exceptionally nice and perfect communication. Awesome overall experience. If I could give 0 stars I would there was an employee not sure of her name that was working 06-02-2025 around 1:15am. I told her what I wanted and she then repeated it back to me incorrectly so I told her that it wasn't correct and repeated my order to her. She said in a rude tone that's what I just said and stated laughing. I was waiting for my daughter to finish her SAT exam at Granite Hills High School (GHHS). I walked around the parking lot for about an hour or so to get some walk exercise. Funny, during my walk, I found about $2+ in change at the parking lot. Thank you GHHS! So I decided to get something to eat, hence, drove out to Del Taco. Bought myself two chicken soft tacos (my fav item here)... always so good! Unfortunately, they forgot to give me mild sauce... I like my tacos with some heat! Staff was okay. Prices are fair. This location is filthy. The burritos were mediocre at best. They were not hot, and the tortillas were dry and stale. I got the 2 for 7 Spicy Chicken a Del Combo burritos. Not really impressed with this location at all, I know it's fast food, but there was only one other customer and the dining room was a mess, from the floor and about 75% of the tables, tables had sauce and cheese on them. Placed an UBER Eats order at 1230 and the first person went to pick up my order at 1 and it wasn't ready. Driver didn't want to wait. Next driver number 2 is up for bat at 1:30. They show up and order still not ready. Next driver number 3 shows up at 1:50 and order is still not ready. I don't know what the hell is wrong with the workers here, whether they are taking a bath in the iced tea or making face masks out of the beans, but they are obviously not doing their job and I wouldn't trust eating there ever again. read more

Okay, went to Del Taco this morning and our ENTIRE ORDER was wrong!! We had to get our Son to work who was already late and he needed to eat, so we couldn't go back. Ordered a combination burrito, got a bean and cheese, ordered a green sauce burrito, NO SAUCE, ordered a Grilled Chicken burrito, if that was Chicken, I'm Queen Elizabeth!! I go to this one since it's the closest one to my house, but what I love the most is that the fries are always crispy (yaassss) and the food is basically what you expect from any other Del Taco, but like, 4% better. Del Taco should be ashamed. I was appalled by the lack of quality and pride that these employees at this establishment applied in the kitchen. The food was absolutely unsatisfactory. Picked up an order in the drive though, drove home and unwrapped a pile of uncooked french fries and what ever else they felt like making me. I ordered Del Taco not Prison food. The manager knows because she came from the kitchen to refund my order. Went next door to Carls Jr. Instead. I will never come back to this location. Tired of receiving mush from them. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE! We don't have many food choices and would be nice to have some kind of quality in Fast food in Apple Valley. On 3-9-15 I found what appears to be a GERMAN COCKROACH in the wrapper of a bean and cheese burrito. It was noticed after reheating the burrito at home. It was a thundering and rainy night, Even though there was flash flood warning's and lightning everywhere we still decided to go to the Dell taco drive through. There was a few power outages in the Hight Desert so the drive-through had several customers. It didn't take too awfully long to get through it due to Manager Amanda. She took charge made sure our complicated order was quickly processed. We got home and the food was great. I order extra beans on the 1/2 pound bean and cheese burritos and didn't receive it. I was charged $1.60 for extra beans. I went back and explained that I didn't receive extra beans and 40 they claimed they gave me extra. The cashier took the burritos and said she would have them but extra beans on them. Sometimes it's very warm and packed full, and sometimes it's cold and the food is very scarce. I once got a taco that had about 15% filled. But the people that work there are super nice!
