This place is great considering it's location amidst one of the grungiest parts of town. First off, the staff is ultra polite, friendly, attentive and good at what they do. The food is always served fast and fresh and exactly how you ordered it. I always have special requests like no meat on my chili cheese fries or extra sauce on my green burrito and they always get it right. The place is kept relatively clean and well stocked with anything you might need (hot sauce, napkins, etc.) There's a couple young girls that regularly work there and operate the drive thru and they are especially pleasant to deal with. This del tacos always had good tasting food and they've never gotten my order wrong, however they're getting 3 stars from me because clearly their management team at this location does not care about the health codes and regulations that currently dictate business open, 2 times in a row now I have seen the same man in the drive through with his mask on his chin and his nose and mouth just out in The open. As well as one of the food handling employees with their mask just below their chin And I witnessed him rub his face. I get that the masks are annoying and we all wish we didn't have to wear them but guess what I also work In the food industry and have to deal with the mask but I already have had family members test positive for Covid so yes your mask on your chin is extremely insulting to the fact that your employees don't care about the health of their fellow employees or the health of their guests, if I continue to see their employees not following health code and regulations it would be a sad day. My mom ordered from this Del Taco and asked for two FISH tacos, and even if my mom isn't as fluent, I'm pretty sure anyone could understand. The employee even repeated the order back correctly yet my mom came home with two regular tacos. I have never reviewed a fast food place but this particular Del taco needs to be reviewed. They are very courteous, well spoken, happy, friendly and professional. Always. I live in another city but will travel to this deal taco because they always give a good amount of cheese. I never have to order extra cheese like the other locations. This is the best Del Taco spot I've been to. I come here at least 1-4 times a week with my buds. I always get whatever I'm feeling that's good. Del Taco coupons are worth coming here as well. The workers are nice and serviceful. Recently there's a new cutee cashier working here too ;) Pretty much anything's good on the menu. Try the new loaded fries! I think their really good. We went to this place the other night. It was packed, a line out the door. They were very quick, they got the line down no problem, barely any wait time. The staff was friendly, repeated our order back to us multiple times and it was correct. The food was what you'd expect with fast food, I'm mostly reviewing for the service. Stopped by the place to grab quick lunch at 1pm today. First time customer in this location. I would have to say, the customer service from all staff were simply excellent! This place was open while being painted. At first glance it just looked like the dining area was being painted but then when I pulled up to the drive thru I noticed the kitchen itself was being painted. They had painters standing on the counter while the location was open for business. The location should have been closed for maintenance. This was unacceptable and a major health code violation. read more

This place is the worst. I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I ordered a #1 and when I got to the window they charged me almost $1 more than the price on the menu. Then tell me the manager forgot to change the prices. On top of that, when I got home and opened the bag it was the wrong order. I tried to call to complain to the msnager, and it goes straight to a full mailbox so you don't get to talk to anybody. I suggest you go to another location. I went here on Thursday around 2am and was surprised by the service I received. I seriously hate going to drive thru, because I hate coming home and realizing that some of my order was missing. Anyways we ordered like 20 tacos and other random things. I went up to the window and they handed me about 3 bags and told me that my order was done. I drove off not checking my order. I drove all the way to the light to turn left on Beach and some guy runs all the way out from Del Taco to my car and hands me my order. Talk about great service! I really liked this location but from the past few times ive been really annoyed. One time there was this guy who couldnt wait in the drive thru line ,had decided that he was just going to park and walk his ass up to the window and order and make 3 cars wait while he waltzed back and forth. There is signage posted on the window absolutely no walk ups to the window. Like seriousy i ordered my stuff before this ass came up and he got his food first and i get to wait another 5 minutes.
