My local store is Jones Creek, but they told me if I'd go to the Choctaw Store that I could get it, and they could even custom tint it for me. Even though the storefront was closed due to COVID, the gentleman who helped me at Choctaw brought out color samples and was patient as I looked them over to select the perfect one. I was able to get my custom color tinted Limewash within a week or so and I love it. I reached out just today via email to get another product and was emailed right back by James Doucet who said he'd take care of it for me. This is your neighborhood business level customer service! Definitely recommend.

I needed a stain for Nordic spruce wood which will become my ceiling. Shawn spotted me the moment I entered the store. I told him what I was looking for and he said if I have a sample of the wood he could help me make a better decision. I went to the car and brought the sample in. Shawn was patient with me and he applied 4 different colors before I decided. A special thanks to Shawn for helping me with this decision. The staff at this store were all very busy and were helping customers. I will revisit this store for my painting needs.

I have bought thousands of dollars of paint from this location over the years, interior and exterior. Never again. Gone are the helpful staff who were so knowledgeable about painting the exterior of my house a few years ago. Gone are the staff who were kind after the 2016 flood when my entire home needed painting, interior and exterior. The current staff refused to give us the name of a manager after they raised their voices and said they couldn't make SW paint from SW swatches. Basically told us to leave and went back to chitchatting. Zero stars.

Sherwin Williams is the best…read morequality paint you can find and although you can buy it at Lowe's, the folks at the SW store are WAY more helpful. The display of color swatches is awesome (and somewhat overwhelming), but the staff can really help you select colors that would work for you. And if you need to match paint, you can bring in a sample and they will figure out the blend of paints needed to make it match. I had to do this when replacing trim around my door and they matched the paint perfectly. I do wish they offered smaller sample sizes. We tested out around 20 different colors when bought our last house and although I would've loved to do everything at SW, I ended up going to Lowe's for some of the samples just because they offered a smaller, cheaper size. Lowe's offers pint-size samples while SW only offers quarts. Although I haven't tried it, Sherwin Williams now offers free in-home video consultations to help select a paint color. I didn't realize how challenging and stressful picking paint colors can be, so this is definitely something I'd consider doing on our next paint job. While it is more expensive than other paint brands, I highly recommend SW for any paint job. High quality paint, great service, and easy to get in and out!

Don't expect Helm Paint to stand behind their advice. They sold me the wrong product to seal my…read moretravertine pool deck which ruined the expensive travertine. Joseph, the manager, agreed that they were liable and delivered several containers of a remover, along with scrapers and the tools necessary to remove the inappropriate coating then stiffed the labor when a bill was presented. They just flat out reniged paying the $4,000 labor costs after agreeing to cover the costs. I guess it got too expensive for them considering the "remover" was not strong enough to do the job. Every step of this process was led by Helm Paint's employees and I got stuck with the bill. We all need advice when it comes to projects we are not familiar with and need to be able to trust that advice. DO NOT trust Helm Paint and double check anything they tell you as their advice is useless and expensive. Just a TERRIBLE experience. Buy your paint elsewhere or risk getting stuck with a large bill.
