It's funny how you are responding to the review before actually returning the call. Your place of business is in fact open on Saturdays. If I was not getting a call for a few days then your staff should've verbalized this. The point of the matter is I was not informed before or after the procedure what were the expectations this time or the depth of treatment that was done that day. Therefore, I went to a dermatologist who stated that it was NOT normal what I was experiencing. She also stated that because my face was so inflamed she could not tell if my scars due to the procedure would fade or not. This is after I stopped by your place of service and was told this was "normal". Even after the 48 hours I still couldn't touch my face due to the pain. My face is worse than it was before I went in for the procedure. I have reached out directly, twice and I still haven't gotten a call back. I've been coming here about twice a year for IPL photofacial for years. The spa is always clean, all staff are friendly and welcoming, and appointments run on time. My only complaint is that they seem to have high staff turnover, which means you're dealing with different people each time. On my most recent visit about a month ago, I was told that NJ law now regulates who can do IPL, and so now it is only done by a medical staff member. Consistent with that (and everything else lately) prices did go up a bit, but after checking around in the area, they still seem reasonable here. Dorota is now the exclusive technician for photofacial. This was my initial session with her. She was thorough in trying to understand my problem and to advise realistically about the procedure and expected results. As I said, I'm not a photofacial newbie, but I appreciated her attention to detail and expertise. She was careful about my comfort and ready to meet me where I was at when I requested that she use high intensity. She was also thorough in the treatment, and I felt that she really tried hard to hit all areas of my face, which I appreciated. I have zero complaints about Dorota. She was great. Unfortunately, my results this time were less than impressive. I don't know if that is because I've reached the end of efficacy for the photofacial, if there was something different about this laser, or just what... I get the IPL to treat brown spots and uneven skin tone. In the past, I have had really amazing results where the areas darken and "scab" and then the discoloration seems to flake right off leaving renewed skin. This time I had almost no darkening and minimal results. I am aware that IPL photofacial is not a science and results can vary greatly. It was just disappointing that something that has worked so well previously did not perform equally well this time. Because of the lackluster results and the price increase, I am not sure that I will keep at it. In the past, I've had prescription bleaching cream that did nothing. The initial IPL was very effective at lightening my dark patches. The spots are still visible, but maybe they are "too light" for the machine. After this summer, I will likely re-evaluate. In sum, I recommend this spa for the facilities and the staff. If you've never tried IPL photofacial and you are dealing with discoloration, this might be what you need. For reference- I'm fair-skinned but tan easily with some freckles. read more

I've been going to Deldor for over 5 years and am loyal to Lu for my facials!! She is amazing and really takes the time to listen to my concerns, how my skin is currently feeling and adjusts the service to suit it. I used to get the acne facial and have since graduated to the hydrofacial and love both for different reasons and what they addressed for my skin concerns at the time. I've been visiting this place since 2014 and their service is always excellent! I first made an appointment using six sessions of laser hair removal for a large area using Groupon ($349) but unfortunately for that package they used an IPL machine so it didn't work too well, but from after that I've been buying the regular laser hair removal package which they use Soprano Ice Laser hair removal machine and that takes away hair permanently! If you are thinking of doing laser hair removal, don't get the Groupon one and get the normal priced one because that will save you money in the long run. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! DID I SAY HORRIBLE? I purchased a couple's massage off of Groupon and I just get a message that they will not honor the Groupon special because I was there before. I didn't recognize the name and I believe it was over a year that my girlfriend purchased and had taken me there as a gift. I didn't recognize the name when I made the purchase. I even posted on all the social media apps/websites of the great deal and others purchase. Now I'm asking everyone that saw my posts across all media platforms that did, to please also cancel/get a refund! Seriously, if you run a business, you have a database of former clients that you can see if they have been there before based on the name and let them know that they don't qualify for the offer. I had made plans in advanced and thank you for destroying them. Their manager (11/30/2017 10:06 AM) stated, "well, we run a business and we try to nip this in the bud when we're settings up appointments." How about using your database while setting up appointments and then right there and then telling a person that they don't qualify for the offer versus setting up the appointment then calling back last minute to tell them that they have to pay full price. Oh, that's because you rather wait it out, then it pressures the person into paying full price. So, you only notice later when the pressure is on and try to shake people down for extra money! I recently went to Deldor Day Spa to have a manicure/ pedicure and was greatly impressed by the cleanliness measures taken during this time. They had screens between the estheticians and clients in all rooms. More than 6 feet apart. As always, from the second you walk in the spa smells amazing and immediately relaxes you. I wish I could give this place one star. DO NOT GO HERE I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal for six sessions. I called to make an appointment and they told me I had another session left. They made me wait three weeks for the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, they told me I will need to pay because I don't have sessions left on my Groupon. She even had me look in the computer where there were only FIVE sessions listed!!! And I said that to her and she said that at the last session I "upgraded from a medium area to a large area" which supposedly used up my last session. This was absolutely false since I have the Groupon receipt showing that I bought laser hair removal for a LARGE area (I have proof of receipt in my email and it clearly states large area...). And I also always got the same area lasered so there is no way that I upgraded... They are thieves and liars here. I believe that when I booked the appointment and they told me that I had another session left, that they put in the computer this fake "upgrade" note in the computer, purposely made me wait three weeks only so they can pretend like they didn't tell me that I had sessions left, all so that I'd come in today and pay out of pocket. This must be a routine they do here. I would absolutely NOT recommend this place. Not to mention that they use an outdated laser that doesn't work well and I had to go to another salon in between sessions and only came back here to use my last session to get my money's worth. I've been a client for 2 years. I had the same esthetician and it has been hit or miss with her. I had to remind her EVERY time that my skin is sensitive. Can't you just remember this simple fact. My first microdermabrasion was OK, with scratches here and there. My facials were OK. My microneedling was CATASTROPHIC- I was scabbed like a zebra! However, the worst was 3 days ago- microdermabrasion. You can see on the photos- this is not redness, these marks are bruises and scars. I'm only praying that I'm not going to have permanent damages. The pictures are from day 3. The areas are still so painful that I hardly smile. While I had the procedure, I warned the girl that it was overly painful. Also, I told her that rubbing the rough towel around exaggerates the pain. At the end, her response was: "Wow, your skin is so sensitive." Lesson learned- go to a dermatology office with spa services. Aesthetician is like a nurse who tries to give you a diagnosis. This is the worst "spa" I have ever been to. Hardly a spa at that. I got suckered in by groupon for laser. Their laser machines are weak so you need way more treatments than offered and the hair is still growing in. Your treatment is so quick, within 3 minutes they are done and miss so much of the area. And it's over priced compared to other salons. But get this - after you've already purchased your groupon, they take you in the room and right before they start your session they tell you the machine you purchased your groupon for doesn't really work so you actually need to upgrade for $100+ more if you want to see results! What a scam!! Why have 2 machines? A good one and a bad one that doesn't work? Maybe they should only be using the good one on their customers!!! And let you buy groupons for the good one, not the one that doesn't work. Their customer service is awful alone. The girl at the front desk is so miserable and unpleasant she seems like she really hates her job. And the laser technicians rush you out the door and don't even cover your whole area that you're getting lasered. This place is just terrible. I initially saw the reviews on Yelp before I purchased my laser hair removal package from Groupon. It was very off putting, but due to the competitive price, I decided to give it a shot. I have been going to get laser done on my legs at the Ridgewood location, which is inside of Dr. Kopelman's office. I personally have not had any complications with the laser treatments (which I just completed my 3rd treatment and have 3 more to go), nor have I experienced the bait and switch described below. In fact I have seen improvement in hair growth reduction since my first treatment. I have now seen two different women, who have both been pleasant and very comforting through the process. The receptionist herself had been very accommodating. I would overall recommend everyone to give this business a try. The only negative I would have to comment on, is the glasses given to you during the treatment. The first two occasions they were given to me dirty. You could see people's face oils on them, both times I had to ask for them to be cleaned. The third time I went they weren't even offered. I'm not sure why. read more

I have had 4 sessions of laser hair removal done at Deldor. I have the same results after the first session, the hair is lighter and takes slower to grow back, but after all of these sessions there should be more improvement. At my last session, the technician missed several large spots of the treated area and would not go back to remove it. I was also informed that 6 sessions would not be enough for me and I would have to buy another 6, even though 3-7 sessions should show permanent hair loss. It's not worth your money. I've been on the search for a new spa since the last one I went to closed down. I went in for a deep tissue massage with Emily and had a great experience. Her pressure level is definitely strong but that's just what I needed. She loosened up my muscles and I felt great afterwards. The reason for docking a star is the price. I had a sports massage with Erin. She was terrific! I don't get massages very often, mostly because when I need them, I can't find the right massage therapist. It was very lucky I got Erin. It did not hurt at all (I read about it feeling like "rubber band" snaps) The woman doing the procedure was nice. As a whole, not the nicest spa I've been to. Questioned the integrity of the laser machine when I saw it was being held together by duct tape =o/ But, I am one of 6 treatments in, so we will see? If the laser treatments work, and all the hair is gone I will for sure bump this up to 5 stars, because that is what I am rating them on. **So far I have only received 2 treatments and there are patches of no hair!! Wanted to write an update that I am still going to see Lu each month (btw she only works Tuesday-Thursday) and I still LOVE it. I had a 2 month hiatus because I got so busy I couldn't find time to see her and my skin was freaking out over temperature changes and hormones - I went to see her at it's worst and within 4 days, my skin had visibly cleared (like day and night) and calmed down. Even my husband noticed and has been commenting on it (rare instance in which he recognizes something different haha.) I don't have experiences with any of their other services or staff members so I can't speak to any of that - but the receptionist(s) have never been anything but sweet and patient with me and Lu is just a godsend. read more

I don't know why these reviews are so low. Had Microneedling today (with Lina) and was really impressed. My session (purchased through a Groupon) was relaxing, effective and very thorough ....an hour to be exact. The idea of most any Groupon is an introduction to a salon, vendor, restaurant, etc. Sorry people, no-one likes a good deal more than me but you have to respect that these people are running a business and not here to give away the farm.
