Joseph Delgado was the photographer for our wedding on December, 28th 2013. Joe not only was an amazing photographer, but an even better person. From the first time we met Joe, we knew right away that he was going to be a pleasure to work with and was going to make our day as special as it could be. Joe is a charismatic and funny person, which made him very easy to work with. From the start with our engagement session, he made us extremely comfortable and went out of his way to reinforce that this whole experience was ours - he would add his suggestions which we loved but at the end of the day we could make it what we wanted. Another thing that really impressed us was how organized Joe was - before our wedding day, we knew exactly how the time was going to be spent in terms of the first look, bridal party portraits, family portraits, etc. and when they were going to be throughout the day. It really helped ease our minds because we had so many pictures we wanted to capture, but also wanted to make sure we were able to maximize our time at the reception and Joe made that happen exactly as we wanted. Lastly, we were very impressed with the creativity that Joe brought to the table. His photography skills blew us out of the water, creating different poses and using different lighting, angles, lenses, that would have never crossed our minds. Without someone with a creative mind like Joe, we would have never gotten some of the spectacular pictures that we did that really captured the feel of our wedding day. When we first found Joe's website, we were impressed. His ability to capture and document all those images that you'd want when getting married- from the bride putting on her dress to dancing at the reception with friends and family, his work was among the best we had seen. But it was really Joe's fun, laid back attitude that really sold us. He's the kind of guy that could fit-in at any wedding. I was going to wait to write the review after viewing all the photos but realized it wasn't even necessary. I loved the engagement photos and the sneak peak we've seen thus far from the wedding. I was briefly in town for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed a local photographer for new headshots. After reading Joe's incredible reviews and seeing how strong his portfolio looked, I reached out -- and he got back to me almost immediately. His package was very affordable, and he came across as warm, professional, and genuinely easy to work with right from the start. When I first contacted Joe, I told him I wanted something a little different -- not the standard studio backdrop. He immediately came up with the perfect idea: an on-location shoot in a nearby park, using the fall foliage as a natural background. I was really impressed that he suggested such a great concept on the fly with only a couple of days' notice, and even more impressed with how fantastic the final photos turned out. Joe is AMAZING! I honestly do not have enough great things to say about him. Joe was the photographer for my wedding on May 30. I get really uncomfortable taking pictures and Joe made the whole experience so much fun and relaxing. We had a long day which involved a morning prep at my house, a church wedding, pictures in a park, and then over to our venue. Joe was there for all of it and helped to make the day run so smoothly. We spent an entire day with Joe and we really just felt like we were hanging out with one of our friends. Having a photographer who is so nice, relaxing, and funny really can set the tone for what could be a chaotic/stressful day. We truly had a blast taking our pictures. At the reception you wouldn't even know him and his team (second photographer and assistant) were there. I've been to some weddings when the cameras are in your face and it's super annoying. Joseph Delgado was a wonderful photographer for my son's first birthday portraits and family pictures. Despite the early start, Joseph arrived at a location that was not entirely familiar to him or our family, and within minutes had a whole series of ideas for shots that captured the best of my children and the scenic features of the area that we had hoped would make an ideal background. It was a very cold day for an early-morning, outdoor photo shoot with a 1 and 4 year old, but Joseph actively engaged the kids and had them pose in a number of ways that suited their preferences. He clearly understands the inherent limitations of shooting children at this age and the time constraints their attention spans impose on a photography session and was patient and accommodating throughout the session. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the results which left us with many perfect shots that we used for a number of purposes- Christmas cards, portraits, family shots, outdoor landscape shots, etc. We look forward to working with him again soon. read more

We had our daughter's 100 day photo shooting done by Joseph. Before that, I did thorough research on photographers in NJ and NY and I feel luck to have made the right decision as Joseph is professional, creative and extremely patient. Our little princess was fussy almost from the start to end on the "big" day.
