On my way to another restaurant I walked by Suriya and the warm fragrance of indian spices drew me in. Yes, there was not one soul sitting at the tables, but I was very hungry and the smell was very inviting. I decided to give it a shot, so I went in and approached the counter. It was kinda funny to have three indian guys staring at me with curiosity while I ordered their eat-in lunch special: 7.80 euro for an indian three course menu + indian beer.
I picked my tabled and took a seat. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean.
Soon enough I was presented with a warm tomato soup, nice and comforting although a little on the salty side. I could hear the kitchen getting the Alu Ghobi Masala all ready for me, what eased my mind about the food being cooked fresh. It was very nice, authentic enough although not very spicy.
Then, dessert. I have no idea what it was, but it tasted delicious. All for 10 euros including the beer.
God knows why there were no more patrons. Maybe it was just the time of the day. But the food is solid and I can recommend.
