The decor is beautiful, clean and modern and this extends to the presentation of the scrumptious food. I work locally and always love to grab a coffee in the morning and a chicken baguette for lunch. The service is timely and very pleasant. I haven't even tried the sweets yet, which appear to be their specialty, but I always see other customers buying boxes full of them so they must be great! They also have a selection of pies and pastries so whether you're popping in for a coffee, something sweet or savory, this is a great place to try.

The place has this kind of homely feel about it and they pride themselves on hearty food, served without fuss. They have a bunch of pre-made choices for breakfast and lunch -- quiches, pies, pastas etc -- and in my experience they've always been generous and tasty. Where it falls over slightly is some inconsistency in coffee. It's a pretty big boo boo in any coffee lover's book, and the food has more than made up for any disappointment in my visits (which, it's worthy of note, have not been frequent in recent times due to better coffee experiences nearby). It is a bit of a family cafe also, so you have to be tolerant of the odd screaming kid. A tip would be to do lunch here and coffee up the street a bit further. However, I have discovered that they have a fairly unique personality that adds life to what is basically a cafe at the bottom of an office block (which is always good for business, unless of course there are no tenants). When I decided that I would order a nice breakfast I discovered it was what you would expect from a typical order of bacon and eggs, namely a large serving with a decent amount of bacon (which is always a good thing because my Mum was always stingy with the bacon) and a large serving of scrambled eggs (my favourite), and at a pretty decent price at that. They also serve my tea the way I like it (namely a tea bag in the pot so it doesn't come out too strong).
