The staff was young and energetic and very kind. They make place feel comfortable and welcoming. Good beer, wine and alcohol choices. And the food choices are good. I watched in amazement as I saw people using knives and forks to eat hamburgers. But then my burger came and after one try at holding it, I had to give up! These burgers are loaded. It was delicious. My only complaint is that I chose to have the meat well done and it was not. I believe they were too rushed in the kitchen as the place was full with people still waiting to get in. There's also a few expected salads and appetizers. Sadly, steaks are missing. We ordered several different burgers, and everyone left happy. Mine was the Farmer's, with bacon and an omelette, which was a nice difference compared to the usual fried egg. Prices are neither low nor high considering the style of the restaurant and the cost of similar joints. Overall, I would say a recommended choice for American dining in Karlsruhe.
