It was a warmer day and the shaded patio looked so inviting. They've done a very nice job incorporating trellises with plants growing up them. It almost has a tropical vibe. We ordered a wonderful salad and fresh rolls to split and they were very good. Fresh, crisp ingredients. Perfect for a summer lunch. The real standout was their signature drinks though. My husband ordered the Dragon Lady (a very tasty, refreshing iced tea) ad I ordered the "Little T Mix" (a mix of ginger, lemongrass and jasmine tea). Both excellent! So I took a walk from my hotel on Parkstraat, which was about a 15 min walk to get to the King Falafel. The place is located just of the shopping streets and not crowded at all. It's your typical fast-foof-over-the-counter place, which can be both good and bad. The place is quite small and the only place to sit is by the counter and like one high table for two people in the back, so not a place to stay in and eat at. That didnt matter for me, since I was set on bringing my food back to the hotel. So the food. I went for falafel in a pita. And it was amazing! The falafel is made when you order them, not even pre "shaped", they will scoop them up and fry them when you order them. Real fresch! The pita was nothing special, its your regular pita, heated before you get it. When your falafel is fried and your pita is heatened, you get your falafel and you can put what ever salad you want for their salad bar. Eventhough its a self service saladbar, its fresh! Lots off different things and a few differet sauces aswell. I went for the tahini sauce which was really nice! My conclusion. One of the best falafels I've had and it only cost me €4,95 for a pita with 6-7 quite big falafel in it. Not five stars though, since the pita could have been better. So if you are in Den Haag and crave falafel, this is the place to go! And I would definitely go back.

When you arrive, you get an electronic tap card and go to various stations to get the food you want (salad, pizza, pasta, dessert/bar). The food is then prepared when you order at the counter, and you tap the card so it records your tab. When you leave, they scan the card and you pay for everything you ordered.
