    Chicharron, asada, carnitas tacos
    David M.

Fantastic tacos at a great price. I got four tacos (carnitas, asada, chicharron) for a little more than $10, and it was too much food for a lunch - but it was all delicious, especially the carnitas. And let me especially single out the screaming hot fresh corn tortillas - truly a differencemaker. Friendly service, and the prices can't be beat. Next time, I'll try the pupusas.

Delicias Centroamericanas is the very definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. This is a tiny, nondescript restaurant on Mason Avenue on the Daytona Beach and Holly Hill line. This is the type of place that you would drive by a thousand times and never notice and if you did by chance notice the restaurant, you would probably not even give the place a second thought. I was looking for this restaurant and almost drove by it. Anyway, to call this place small is an understatement. There are maybe seven tables in the whole place. It is simply and inexpensively decorated. However, the food here is definitely the shining star. I opted for three tacos and a papusa. For the tacos, I went with two carne asada and one chorizo. For my papusa, I went with the traditional papusa with pork, beans and cheese. They were incredibly priced at two dollars a taco and $2.50 for the papusa. And for that little bit of money, you got a good amount of food with a whole lot of flavor. The tacos and the papusa were all extremely good. Service was friendly and a glimpse inside the kitchen shown a woman cutting chicken and preparing some of the amazing food coming out of this kitchen. I got the food to go, so I cannot remark on how a dine-in experience would be, but I found the staff here very friendly. I would definitely recommend the small restaurant. The tacos and the papusa were all exceptionally good and I will definitely be returning.

OMG! This place was amazing! We went to get dinner here not knowing what to expect one we got there we were a bit doubtful since the outside looked a bit run down, even walking inside it was very tiny and can hold up to 3 large groups though it is a little tight. Once we sat down they took our drink order and food order at once. They were very accommodating as my parents wanted sodas that werent cold which they were able to give. We ordered a lot of food from their menu. They have food from Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador. Since I am from Honduras whenever i see a "Pollo Chuko" on the menu i have to get it. Though I have only ever gotten one that was deliciously amazing and well done. From their menue we got: - 1 cheese pupusa (extra well done to be crispy, have to ask for it this way) this was done well and the side salad/coldslaw that comes with it was really good 5/5 - from El Salvador - 1 Baleada con todo y carne we asked for no crema. This had refried beans, cheese, egg, avocado and small beef strips. This tasted delicious 5/5 - from Honduras - Tostadas con pollo frito (Pollo Chuko as its called in some places) i am not an onion fan so i asked for mine without onions and the dressing to the side as i little to control where i pour (kind of a food control freak) when this came out i was so surprised at how it looked as it looked bery authentic. They were able to provide me the food in the way I wanted which was great. I was even surprised when there was 2 pieces pf fried chicken as it normally only comes with one. 5/5! - from Honduras - 1 torta de pollo which was done really well and sort of panini-fied. The sandwich was way bigger than expected 5/5 - from Mexico - horchata, this was just ok. I felt like it was too sweet and sugary. It could have used more cinnamon 4.5/5 Do make a stop here if you are ever around. Note that they are closed on Tuesdays

This place was great! Food was amazing very good quality! The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very small with about 6 tables and only one server , HOWEVER that did not ruin the experience for us . The young owner was very friendly and social ! He was there helping the server out taking drink and food orders while tables were being cleaned for the customers... its very small in there and it gets very busy quick but we did not feel unwelcomed at any point which was why we chose to patiently wait and it was SO WORTH the wait ! It did not disappoint at all ! The food is cheap and delicious! I highly recommend to try . I do hope they get more servers in there soon with how well their business is going !

Two empanadas with sauce. Being a gringa the sauce was much too hot for me!

I've passed by a few times and finally checked out the reviews on here. Glad I did! I got two empanadas and an horchata. The horchata is El Niño brand so it is a tad sugary. The two empanadas hit the spot soooo well! They're just beef, potato, and the menu said carrot too, but I didn't see/taste any. Muchas gracias Delicias y voy al volver :-)

Hidden gem! Passed this tiny little place and busted a U and glad I did! Mango smoothie (no dairy yay!) and a beef empanada (simple-ground beef and potato). This is straight up delicious food. May be the best empanada I've ever eaten. Side dipping sauce was perfect. Interior is humble and clean! Clean bathroom! 5 stars because it's exactly what it's supposed to be. Be prepared for grease and a happy belly! :)

    great food very delicious meal.

the food was on point . the service was great , great customer service, the place is very clean . food very good if i was to give this a 10 i would but i give it a 5/5

Empanadas, yellow rice, steak and chicken taco

By far one of Daytona's best "hidden gems". We've been looking for a place to get good homemade empanadas from and we came to the right one by far. I ordered 2 empanadas, a steak taco, and chicken taco with yellow rice. My husband got the steak sandwich meal, and it was all unbelievably delicious. Extremely well priced too, for all of the food we received we only paid $20. This is going to be our new taco spot for sure! We can't get enough.

This is a super hole in the wall place, but the food is amazing. Someone from another local restaurant recommended me to come here and I am SO glad I took the time to try it. My mom is from Honduras and this reminds me of anytime I used to visit. This is one of the best places I've ever been to! Check it out, you won't regret it.

Delicious! We we're shopping at the new Daytona outlets and found this gem only 3 miles away. We had beef empanadas, tacos (chicken, steak) and pupusas and everything was delicious. Sorry, no pictures of the pupusas, my husband didn't give me a break to take it cause he devoured them in no time. Excellent and warm service. Highly recommend.
