I actually read the reviews before booking and must admit we expected better..previous reviews must be from friends and family or people with low standards to give the 5star ratings. Service was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive so that was a positive. However the food was average at best. We were dissapointed with the fact that there were no specials available and a couple of the menu items such as the scallops were not available either. The Thai fish cakes were dry and badly cooked. The Spanish omelette was a slice of a pre packed product and the chicken goujons were burned and tough in parts. The prawns were ok but the meatballs arrived long after everything else. Expensive for what it was and the quality. Final straw was the unavailabilty of a credit card payment facility and so had to run across the road to the speed bank in the rain. only giving three stars due to the food, very niceBut i have now been here four times, this was the last try hoping it was just due to us being there on a bad or busy night, This does not seem to be the case.The food takes far to long to arrive huge amounts of time beetween dishes, you cant enjoy things because you want to have things with other things but they are to slow to get everything out to you the last visit was an one hour forty five minutes from the first to the last dish, we even had to ask for the last one because they forgot, will not be trying again now. In my opinion they need more kitchen staff. :( read more

Very impressed. Excellent selection of dishes which are well presented & cooked using fresh ingredients. 3 dishes is well enough 2 satisfy a person. I highly recommend the calamari & the risotto . Well nice. Utilise the voucher 4 the free sangria. There was 4 of us when we went & we got a nice jug of the stuff. The house red wine proper nice & u could easily chug your way through a bottle, no danger. The service is good and the chef often comes 2 meet the diners, asking 4 feedback & providing his services. I have been to Deliciosa a number of time and never had a bad meal, as for food taking time to come out,do these people not understand Tapas is about eat a little drink a little and chat. If it all comes at once it will go cold if your trying to chat, drink and enjoy your evening. Cmon people if you want to chow down and fill your face go to a buffet style all you can eat, this is about taking your time and enjoying the evening. Oh one last thing if I am ever unhappy about what has been presented to me in any restaurant I challenge it there and then. read more

Very poor, went for a family meal, service was poor and in total it took 2 and a half hours for the meal to be complete. Far too long betwen courses and after waiting for half an hour we finally got our dessert of 1 churro each!!! Refused to pay all the bill due to the low quantity of food, i know it tapas, but 2 prawns each! On a plus note the food is nice when it arrives. Went to the Deliciosa before it moved and the service and was much better. Would not recommend for a special occasion or for a group bigger than 2. read more

An excellent restraunt with good food and friendly staff. We had 3 dishes each and felt nice and full. All the dishes were good quality the ones we found particularly delicious were: the chicken and bacon croquettes (creamy and tasty), the chorizo (excellent sauce), the muscles in garlic and wine sauce (excellent quality and a good portion). We were topped up on bread at no extra cost and the free sangria went down a treat! I would definately reccomend it. Thank you. read more

Just had a early deal 3 tapas for £10 with drink. (peroni) Fantastic value nice fresh food. Staff said they were still recovering from a fire in the basement couple months ago. didn't notice went to Italian round corner is it rubinca , modern place stood there for 5 min not even acknowledged so left, the opposite at this place very attentive and friendly staff. Well done. only small thing as coming from the industry maybe some fresh herbs on the garlic bread. read more

I stumbled upon this place when I was looking for tapas places on the web and what a very pleasant surprise :) The food was delicious my favourite is the calamari :) We were served by a very friendly waiter. All of the dishes were a good size, the menu said 3 dishes if you are feeling hungry, and that was more than enough [don't know what Alantabs is on about :(] Will defo be going back to Deliciosa. As a big fan of Tapas I was so glad to hear one had opened just around the corner from me! Took my best friend who is fluent in Spanish and lived there for sometime and my sister to Deliciosa and we were blown away by the amazing Tapas that was served! I've had a lot of Tapas and this was the best of them all! The atmosphere is great and is so cute the way they have made it very authentic! Also the sangria was amazing! read more

We went on the off chance as we had heard a few good things about this place and have to say we were blown away. The service was great and friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was fantastic. Portion sizes are very generous and you can really tell that everything is homemade. We will definitely be going back and would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Best Tapas I have ever had! Food was unbelievably good! Came out as soon as it was ready meaning it was very hot, the portion sizes were all great as well. We ordered as much as we would at other Tapas places we have been however there was so much left over. Great service, atmosphere, food, price and staff. Definitely going to go again! x read more
