Delicious Orchards is a fun spot to stop by and check out their grocery store and get something quick to eat. The grocery store is expensive but you can find cool stuff in it. I might stop by in the fall for a pie for Thanksgiving. Nonetheless, they are known for their apple products like apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, and apple cider slushie. I've had the doughnuts before and they are okay. Their slushie is pretty good and adding ice cream to it makes it even better. You can also find Delicious Orchards occasionally at local farmers markets like the one in bell works.

I loved this place and they had everything you could want. We stopped by on our way south and it was even better than I remembered. We bought so many treats including apple cider donuts and pies and took coconut custard and apple home. The apples were fresh crisp and delicious and we picked up pistachios chestnuts and large oranges plus some good produce like juicing carrots. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of registers open for the busy thanksgiving crowd. We tipped the cashier and bagger and parking was easy. There was a line to get in but it moved quickly. I just loved it.

Delicious Orchards in Colts Neck has such a great selection, especially in the bakery section so many options it's tough to decide. I picked up a PEC, which was excellent, along with an apple swirl and some fresh apple cider. Everything was delicious and felt really fresh. A perfect stop if you're looking for quality baked goods and seasonal treats.

The incredible apple cider slushie!

This is my favorite spot in the area for baked goods like apple cider donuts, cheese bread, and applesauce cake. I dreammm about their frozen apple cider slushie! Imagine frozen tart apple cider swirled with vanilla ice cream.... Literally perfection! (But only during the summer/early fall season) Their apple fritters are delicious too! Overall cute vibes. They also have free apple cider and coffee samples which is a major plus! Some seating outside after you checkout, so you can enjoy your tasty purchases on-site.

DO has been on my fall places to visit bucket list. There's plenty of parking upon arrival and it was extremely busy this weekend. It's basically a grocery store so don't expect to stay long or for fall activities like hayrides. I came here specifically to try their slushy and donuts. Inside the store was impressive as they have a lot of items ( from produce to sweets) After trying the donuts I would say I've had better and the slushy was alright. Not sure if I would visit again for those specific items.

A busy spot, especially in the Fall, for baked goods and fresh produce. We visited on a Saturday around 1pm, and it was quite crowded inside the store and outside where there is space available to grab a bite. We tried their cinnamon sugar cider donuts (prepackaged) and an apple cider slush with ice cream. The donuts tasted fresh and delicious. The apple cider slush had a nice consistency and wasn't too sweet, but I would probably opt to get it without ice cream next time. + Try a free sample of their apple cider towards the back of the store!

I visited for the first time yesterday and my first NJ orchard since moving here last winter. I loved the autumn ambiance, from fall displays outside and tempting desserts of the season! An apple cider tap was a nice surprise; I hadn't seen one at orchards in my previous area. The apple cider reflects the orchard name, delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back for some peppermint flavor for hot chocolate!

I don't discriminate against donuts, but unfortunately, these are headed for the trash.

This review is based solely on a basket we received from DO. My wife had a substantial surgery, coworkers of my daughter sent a lovely looking basket with some chocolates, hot chocolate mix, A dozen donuts (1/2 powdered sugar, 1/2 apple cider) and some other stuff which slips my mind at this moment. Talk about a let down. The donuts were terrible. Apple cider were inedible, they were hard and tasted anold. Others were minimally better but also hard and old tasting. Not cool Delicious Orchards, if QC can't be maintained donuts shouldn't be shipped. Sadly I wish my relationship with the people who sent the basket was better as to tell them to request a refund. Very disappointed.

Green and well stocked indoor farmers market/ grocery store . With tons of seasonal fruit and vegetables and even honey they make on their grounds outside, this place is worth a drive while in NJ. Friendly service and well organized area to get fresh coffee and baked items.

Delicious Orchards is an accurate description of this unbelievably beautiful and aromatic grocery store in Jersy. With beautiful fields of sunflowers, corn fields and honey bee honey buildings as you enter the property, it was definitely worth a stop. Staff was friendly as we walked through the areas for coffee and don't get me started on the complimentary apple cider in the fruits and veggies dept. The coffee and tea area also was available for sampling. It was nice to see so many bees on property and can explain the beautiful flowers and plants available for purchase before enter store. Would absolutely do a return visit if in area again. Plentiful shaded parking. Note: if decide to walk to their orchard keep in mind can not enter gates due to bees rooming free.

Apple Cider Donuts... can be had plain, powdered or cinnamon sugar. A must!

A legacy in the Central Jersey area. Full on deli, bakery, prepped food, produce.... has an old time general store feel. Quality and patient counter personal. Questions? Ask and anyone is willing to help. Apple cider donuts are a favorite of mine. A yearly visit in the fall gets me here. Always, always will stop for the Delicious Orchards Apple Cider donuts. Wanting to experience the freshness, opened the bag in the car... bite, slight crunch, soft inside, not overly sweet. I'm so glad I stopped. Hello old friend....

For almost two decades I lived in Madison (NJ), less than 10 miles away from Wightman Farms. I was addicted to their Apple Cider Donuts. I don't live in Madison anymore, but I think about those donuts. This weekend on a hunt for some cider donuts, I took a trip to Delicious Orchards (Colts Neck NJ). The place has a large variety of Apple Cider (tart, sweet, different combos etc); 10 plus Pies; Yes Apple Cider Donuts; Fruits; Vegetables; .......; So much more. This place is something else. I cannot believe I found a place which has better Apple Cider Donuts than Wightman Farms.

An increase in price with the same products and quality is acceptable but that is not the case. It is not a Farmers Market anymore. To be fair, the prices are great. I purchased a container of organic strawberries for $2, regular blueberries 2 containers for $3, Fuji apples $1/lb. However, ShopRite sometimes have these prices too when they have their sales.... Although their fruit selection was varied and plentiful, the vegetable selection is very limited. There were only some basic vegetables. I ended up only getting fruit. Overall the produce didn't look very fresh, definitely not "off the farm fresh". In fact, some of the produce didn't just look past their prime, but downright rotting. I was going to purchase some plum tomatoes but couldn't find any that looked good. Most had a black rotting ring on top. To my surprise, there were some bok choy but there were so many "holes" on the leaves that I decided not to get them. I wished this was better. I would love to have a fresh farmer's market here but this just didn't do it for me.

I hear it can…read moreget crowded on the weekends, but on Thursday when we arrived a little before noon, it wasn't bad. They had a steady stream of newcomers but not too crowded. It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

There wasnt any pumpkin left in the field to pick and the apples were not event there on the trees. I would definitely have to say hand down to the cute little store - there was a bakery side and oh my gosh the donuts , the cookies and the Tik Tok famous drink was out of this world. So the 2 hour trip was definitely worth the drive. The service was okay the individuals behind the counter to order the Tik Tok drink had a bit of a attitude when I was asking about questions. Just stay patient. Other then that I would highly recommend coming here and trying a piece of all of there different donuts and cookies are soo soo good. They even had a pumpkin cider donut which I never had before. Don't forget to stop by and check them out.
