All proceeds went directly to one of our local shelters that does amazing work helping pets find homes. She held a drawing for families who brought their pets in for a full photo session and our family was one of the lucky winners. We had our full family (two leggeds and four leggeds) photographed with her a few months later and it was truly an amazing experience. Audrey's professionalism and talent are beyond compare, but what really made her stand out in my mind was her ability to "read" our family and capture us just as we are. An example of this is our youngest daughter, who can tend to be a stinker when she's nervous or out of her element. Audrey was completely patient with her and waited until she was able to relax enough to be photographed. We weren't rushed in any way - she took her time and got some amazing shots of our girls, our pets and our whole family. The first thing I noticed about Tiffany was her speed of response and how accurate she was in describing what she did, how long it took, where to do it and what it cost. Then came the emails and the texts with examples and a to-do list. I was to send her pictures of myself in outfits - and she commented on each one with her professional eye and we chose three. She was also incredibly flexible on where to shoot. On the day of the shoot, I was incredibly surprised at her eye to detail, willingness to take a million shots, constant change in her own positions and the ease with which she made me feel at home. After the ease of setting up day, time, and place, deposit and contract were sent. Everything was done electronically, making it convenient. The day of the session went well despite a little wind making hair placement difficult. Other than that, she arrived on time and accommodated our change of location requests. My only complaint is that she didn't take as many candid or playful shots of the kids or family as I expected. I also felt like we didn't get as much direction as to how to pose. She did advise us in what order to stand. I would have maybe liked a few seated poses as well. Overall, she was friendly and professional. She even took some photos with my old polaroid camera per my request. The finished work arrived quickly via a link through email with direction on how to download and select favorites. The images are beautiful and the turn out with final editing was fast, approximately 2 to 3 days. I am pleased with how everything went and how it turned out. Finding a photographer for a surprise proposal is daunting enough. With her knowledge of the area, she was able to add in a few helpful tips on how to make the day even more magical, from proposal tips to info about the location I planned on. My husband and I got married in July of 2018, and while Heather hadn't shot at our venue before, she came to our final detail meeting to scope out the location and do prework. She didn't have to do it, but it was another opportunity for us to meet in person too before the big day and go over the photos we wanted. Heather is incredibly professional and kind, yet also has the right around of direction to herd family for family photos! Getting 25 people in one photo is no small feat, but she is up to the task and makes you feel at ease. Throughout the day she was incredibly sweet, checking on us to make sure we were okay, but also giving us direction for when she found the perfect shot. Smiling hurts after a while! So when we were getting a bit tired she was flexible and made it work. She is helpful, dedicated and thoughtful which made her such a joy to work with. Not to mention, the photos turned out AMAZING.
