As we sat down and ordered our first glass of wine, the owner however noticed instantly that we were interessted. He advised us very well knowing his products. He then offered us a free glass of wine to try and later on a second and a third. This is why it was a pleasure to stay even longer as intended. After checking in the first things we noticed was that it was very warm inside with no air conditioning and that it was absolutely packed full. We managed to find two seats close to each but not together. I went over to check out the food and beverage offerings which were almost laughable. The liquor consisted of one scotch and two gins, thats it. There were three bottles of red wine but they were all the same. Inside the cooler was Peroni (the only beer offered), white wine, an open bottle of champagne, mixers and bottled water. The weird thing about all of them besides the beer is that they are "common use". You take what you want and just put the rest back. There were no small sized waters so people were just taking a liter bottle with them. The food was just bread, meats and cheeses that did not look appetizing at all. It was just too crowded and warm to stay down there so we left and went back upstairs to the nice open and cool terminal that had plenty of seating, shops and restaurants. There is no reason to come to this lounge.

Seemed like everything was sitting out for a while. The pastries and bread were quite stale, the lettuce was wilted and brown and the antipasto was difficult to chew. The price was reasonable, so I made my way in and found a comfy chair to sit in. The food selection was alright - it was fresh, but I missed some of the variety that I've found at other lounges. Seating was adequate and included an array of different seats (tables, easy chairs, working nooks). Showers were available (I don't take one), and bathrooms were clean. It's nice to relax pre-flight in a place that is not as hectic as the general concourse, and Plaza Premium was just the place to do so on our last trip.

The view wasn't as nice as we hoped with no famous landmarks but it was accessible to us and pretty. There was live music playing not really my style with a similar synthesizer beat to each song but it was something to listen to. Cocktails were pricey so we had one each which came with an appetizer we enjoyed. You never know what will be served! Sometimes you get chips and olives and other times a warm appetizer which we got but drinks always get something with it. It was a warm day out so we didn't stay too long but enjoyed our time there.
