I was getting my moms house prepared for a party. I contacted Delsa and she was luckily available on such short notice. My mom is old and doesn't dust much anymore and has developed clutter over the years. Poor Delsa was so overwhelmed by the years of dust and grease but she jumped in and quickly cleaned away years of grime. She called her husband Juan to help with the dusting. My daughter found this cleaning service on yelp and decided to hire them after seeing it had good reviews. The lady arrived to our empty home which needed 5 bathrooms cleaned, and the floors swept and mopped, plus wiping down of kitchen cabinets... she quickly quoted $250, which was very high priced.... considering I have hired 2 cleaning ladies for $150 in the past. She later agreed to clean only the restrooms for $125. When I checked the cleaning I found several dirty areas and soap scum on all the shower doors., which I pointed out and she was quick to snap back and say that it couldn't be cleaned. I proceeded to show her how easily it could be cleaned and she still didn't do it. I asked her again a second time and she very angrily cleaned the areas except the shower doors which were so obviously not done and Still left it dirty. After I paid her and she left, I found one of the toilets had also been undone. I do not recommend this service simply because of the bad service and bad cleaning. I am going to have to do it myself as I am having an open house tomorrow. read more

So I needed to hire someone to do a move out cleaning. I hadn't done any real cleaning in a few years, and the house was a disaster area. I called around to some of the bigger maid companies, and they wanted way too much to clean a small house. I stumbled on to Delsa's Yelp listing, and thought I'd give her a shot. Her price quote was very low, and I was convinced that I was going to have to do a lot of work after she was gone to make the house presentable, but I figured anything was better than nothing so I gave her the job. She showed up exactly when she said she would, which was more than I could say for other companies just giving estimates. She didn't give me a horrified look or run out screaming when she saw the shape of the bathroom and kitchen, another plus. She gave me a time frame in which she would complete the job, and she was done within that time frame. So far, she's already a winner. When I came to inspect the work, she had far and away exceeded my expectations. Every surface in every room in my house, along with the garage were cleaner than they were at any time in the last 12 years! She even brought my garbage cans up from the curb. If I could give more than five stars, like 20, I would. I was skeptical of maid service, but I will hire Delsa for all my house cleaning needs in the future. read more

Poor communication & slow to return text messages. Delsa came out immediately to provide a quote to deep clean a bathroom with the intention of cleaning additional rooms after this trial run. After the consult, she told me she was fully booked and couldn't take the job. Bottom line, I don't think she was interested. I followed up several times afterward and she said she would let me know when she was free. I told her I wanted to have the cleaning done by Thanksgiving. First, her cleaning was decent but she rearranged several rooms in the process and did not put back things where she found them. When her assistant was cleaning out windows she pushed the screen out and it fell into our driveway below. Instead of Delsa telling us she pretended she didn't know it happened but I heard her talking about it. Last but not least she didn't communicate properly when it came to her scheduling. I contacted her on a Thurs and she went to my in-laws house the very next day so she could meet them and give me a quote. Then she came the day after that, on a Saturday to clean for them and for me. So within 48 hours of my call to Delsa my in-laws house was cleaned. She did an absolute FANTASTIC job for them. Not only was the job immaculate and very thorough but my in-laws said Delsa was super kind and a wonderful person. So now the only issue is that I need Delsa to come to Phoenix for my house! Ha!
