I want to acknowledge to people: Ms Cole, from member service . I was really upset when I reached out to Ms. Cole, she remained professional and kept me calm during the process. She took care of the issue, while I was sitting in the bank waiting to speak with management. She should be cloned and become a manager in member service, she was phenomenal. I was at the Satellite location, not happy with the way I was treated, I was waiting on the manager, kept requesting and was being told that she was busy and would be right out. I sat for over an hour and not being acknowledge, I didn't know at the time I was watching the manager take care of another customer. It would have been helpful if her staff would have communicated, but instead they walked around as if I was not there. When Ms Hunter, finished her customer she approached me with a humble spirit and apologize for the wait. We went to her office and she asked if I could explain my concern. She calmed me down, and understood, my frustration. She also, verified that the car issue was taken care of. The most important part she allowed me to vent without judgement or interrupting. When I was sitting in the lobby I had written a whole page of complaints, because the way Ms Hunter, handle the situation. Deleted my negative post. I use this bank since it is the one closest to my job; for this reasons I use it frequently but every single time it takes more than 15 min to do the simplest transaction such a deposit. I've never had a bad experience at this DCCU branch. I always go into the bank (as opposed to the drive-thru) and again, have never had an issue. It's hardly ever a long line of customers waiting & I'm seen right away. I just received my 2nd car loan from them and the process couldn't have been any smoother AKA it was a breeze! The staff members all seem to be courteous, however Erica was hands down the best! She was so knowledgeable, professional, personable and efficient. I've banked with DCCU for a long time and yesterday sometime, their "system went down", whatever that means. I called yesterday twice because my debit card was being declined from purchases and asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold for almost thirty minutes and finally hung up. Was told I was going to be called back and have not received a call yet. I'm considering closing my account with them because the FDIC ensures fund availability, despite the system "being shut down". I used to bank with BOfA and was very dissatisfied with their services. Once I moved to GA, i came across this Credit Union. I made the switch hoping it would be at least "not as bad as BOfA". What a pleasant surprise I had when I was not milked out of my money for various charges, some of which I don't even know if they really existed. Delta Community Credit Union is a wonderful financial institution. The people are friendly and helpful to extreme levels. 80% of the staff have me on first-name basis and I bring in a very complex transaction every week with multiple deposit slips, transfers and withdrawals. Even when I get a brand new person, it's clear to me they have been well trained as it takes very little prompting from me - often none at all - to complete my transactions correctly. I refinanced my home loan through DCCU and the service for that was excellent as I expected it to be. The ease of being able to pay my mortgage with the swipe of a finger in their app, car payments, utilities - ALL these things have become simple routines. Do yourself a favor and bring them your business. I read the couple of negative reviews below, and ALL of them seem like the person who wrote them had OTHER problems they're not telling you about. The drive through is not going to be empty just because YOU pull up in your car. You have to understand that if you get in line, you have no control over what the person in FRONT of you is doing. They pull up there and act like it's a teller and want to conduct 15 kinds of business from their car window. Not everybody has a simple deposit, and all the teller can do is react to what's happening. They can't ask that person to leave just because you're waiting. So get a grip, people. Next, the woman who referred to the entire place as being "racist" needs to get a handle on reality. DCCU has an incredibly diverse staff, with persons of color at every level of management. All of them conduct business in the most professional manner possible. Take that from me with some weight to my words, because I am a very picky old white guy, and everyone takes excellent care of me, no matter what they look like! Let's face it, if you have such terrible grammar, it's not a huge leap of logic to assume that one of the other things you didn't learn in public school is how to manage your money. Probably, you thought the words "credit union" means "easy credit" and got offended when they couldn't find a way to give you a loan. Here's a hint - buy here pay here - go and get yourself a used Cavalier, because you're just going to dent all four sides of it within a month anyway. Anyway, let's just call things what they are. Very friendly service and everyone is informative. I made my very first car loan here and everything was pretty smooth. India and Vicky were very helpful. Interior design for the credit union was very nice and welcoming. I don't ever use drive thru service and much rather just use ATM service so no complaints about that. read more

This place is horrible! Please do not waste your time. I've been trying to get a loan and gave all the information that's needed to be provided and only to be rejected and was laugh at. Tracy thought it was so funny that I had went through hell to try to get all paper works to get a loan for car. She did not know her job/work or what she's suppose to do. I finally FIRED these guys after 3-4 issue JUST MAKING DEPOSITS here. They have all kind of completely random policies that they try to enforce on their customers that aren't regulatory requirements and aren't customer friendly - just because they think they can. Today I was told that they wouldn't provide a receipt for my deposit because they didn't have a current ID on file. I went to this credit union today because the one near my Job closes at 4. When I arrived they were closed as well. The posted hours on the door say 9-4pm, even though the google hours say they close at 5:30pm. Delta PLEASE update your hours so people aren't getting false information. The Duluth Satellite Blvd location has a too-frequently broken ATM. Most often, the cash deposit part is broken, and stays that way for several days, and for no reason that I've ever been able to find out. Unfortunately there is no other ATM here nor any close. I chose Delta because of shared banking with my out-of-state credit union, but too often can not make an after hours deposit. read more

Delta Community Credit Union blocked my ELDERLY mom's access to her checking and savings accounts because she is behind on Visa cc payments. They say that this is policy but I have never heard of any other bank or credit union doing this. I am on the account and have POA. I spent HOURS at the local DCCU branch and with their collections dept to no avail. MY MOM HAS NO ACCESS TO HER MONEY AND CANNOT PAY HER BILLS! SHE RISKS GETTING KICKED OUT OF HER NURSING HOME. WE CANNOT LOOK AT HER ACCOUNTS ONLINE EVEN. Finally, they moved $200 from her checking account to her Visa credit card WITHOUT PERMISSION. They say that we can have access to the accounts when the Visa credit card is current. This is EXTORTION. They will not help me. I will be reporting them to the NCUA as well and will be attempting to contact their CEO. I am so mad about this that I don't know what to do!!! Don't do business with them!!!! read more
