The worst!!! Customer service nonexistent. Called for a simple question. On hold for 20 minutes and still holding. Okay. Finally got through. It was worth the wait. I had a customer service rep that took the time and explain things very clearly. She walked me through each item that I asked about. She was fantastic. I guess the weight was worth it if you get someone as skilled as this person. She took the time needed, and I suppose that contributes to a weight! read more

By far the worst insurance provider ive had to date!!! If you call just make sure to expect a half hour wait time. My insurance was canceled (supposedly by my employer) is what delta sent me in the mail. Call my employer and hey they havemt cancelled anything and are still paying my insurance benifits as per my union contract. So they must be stealing company money and having their customers terminated. Wonder if i could get my company to fight them for the refund and make a class action suit.. will persue... read more

This place needs to be investigated. Worst insurance ever. My doctors nor I understand why an APPROVED procedure is not being paid. Financial ruin and stress left to me. First they canceled my coverage without telling me while I was on disability. Next they tell me I need a doctors note. Wait a week for my doctor to provide said note. Email them said note. Wait two days and call to check the status. NOW they tell me there's an actual form I should've had my doctor fill out? Ref#431023 Maggie was excellent helping me process all my claims and walked me through the process. She spend quality time with me and did not rush me. I've been trying to resolve my claims for 5 months and was not going no where, today we did conference calls and was able to push the claims through. Delta Health systems has the worst provider resources available, although I use that word VERY loosely! They don't have necessary resources available for a provider to get information regarding claims! They don't make it easy to reach a live customer service representative, I had to call the member line just to get transferred to someone else who was extremely rude! I would never recommend this insurance company to anyone! read more

If you have your insurance through Mendocino County, you are stuck with Delta Health Systems as your third-party administrator. We are paying through COBRA, so we have to mail in a check every month. There is NO mechanism to pay over the phone or online, and when I called to see what options I had (I ran out of paper checks), the lady snarkily said, "Well, I guess you have to get a money order." Super unhelpful, but why should she be? We have to go through Delta Health Systems, so matter how bad the service. read more

This company is a joke every time my doctors try to contact them to verify insurance nobody answers the phone they've been on hold for longer than half an hour and they finally give up and I end up having to reschedule my doctors appointments. This has happened on more than one occasion, absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Avoid this organization. They are either unwilling or unable to do competent, let alone quality work as a third party administrator. They do not provide good service such as providing meaningful help to employers and employees sorting out coding errors. The role of third party administrators is not be well understood by most people. But it is important and a lot of money is at stake. Employers have an obligation to employees to seek high quality organizations. read more
