10/10 I absolutely recommend. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and informative about the menu and specials. I also loved the restaurant whether dining casually or celebrating something special. It was really nice inside and parking on the side of the building. Now for the star of the show, everything we had for dinner was amazing. The steak special with 32 oz ribeye, spinach and truffle fries was outstanding. Man oh man I really wanted this place to be a 5. But things went from bad to worse. First I called to verify my reservation because I was traveling over an hour. After the confirmation I asked about them having the Lobster Pescatori that Owner Rob demonstrated on Instagram. He said yes and we couldn't wait to get there. The waiter who was really nice ( hence the 2 and not 1) brought the menus we said no need we will have the lobster Pescatori. To my jaw dropping surprise he said no lobster tonight. We haven't had fresh lobsters in 2 days. After that I ordered the pork chop and my wife got the gnocchi. Both dishes were a step up from uneatable. I wish I had left and went to Aunt Butchies on Arthur Kill road. Needless to say we won't return. read more

I came here to celebrate my birthday and I absolutely love this restaurant. Everything is all homemade and is very delicious. My family and I started out with having calmaria, homemade meatballs, and rice ball. All very delicious and homemade. I wish they made the meatballs an entreee it was very, very delicious. Then for the entrees I asked if they can make me chicken Francesca I got it with vegetables and potatoes it was very delicious. I would highly recommend getting this dish even though it is not listed on their menu. My husband and my father got their steak wow it was very delicious and it was actually medium well. Next time I may get that dish. My mother got a pasta dish with vegetables. Everything was overall very delicious and a lot of left overs. For dessert they came out and sang happy birthday to me and I decided to also get the Gelato it must had been the best Gelato ever. Pictured is the chicken Parmesan dinner with spaghetti. This was absolutely delicious. I love how they placed the flower to make the meal look beautiful. Great plating. Something to know is that the parking is very rough at this location but they do offer valet parking which is great. I also feel the menu is a bit limited but I am also a bit picky. I went here a total of two times. The first time was absolutely amazing & I assumed it would be again on the second trip a couple months later. There were many inconsistencies with the food even though I ordered the exact same meal again. Everything seemed off. No flower no olive oil or dip for the bread frozen butter came out that i could not spread. The appetizer although the same was made completely different and tough. I would say the food can be amazing or good depending on when you go and whoever is cooking that day. I probably would not rush to go back because I found the menu to be limited for example no cheese ravioli, no eggplant parm or rollatini. The staff here are very kind and come to the table often. Service is very good. Drinks actually contain a nice amount of alcohol but beware of the price. Went here on this past Mother's Day. The owner/manager is so amazing, attending to every detail. It was insanely busy and both service and food quality were above standard. They offered a prefix menu one app one enteee and one dessert for the holiday. Portions were generous. Definately try one of the pasta dishes. I came to the much talked about Delucas a few months back. It was a last minute decision so we didn't have reservations but since it was during the week I didn't think it was such a big deal and it wasn't. There was a lot seating. I found when walking in there was a weird vibe. It was very tense and staff wasn't friendly. We order drinks wine, old fashion, seltzer.. We were told the specials and ordered. Scallops, pork chops, chicken And apps. We got our drinks and they were all terrible. Old fashion is a basic drink you learn in bartending school and I got some Jade Island Bs.. with cherries! idk for 16 dollars very sad. When Apps came for burrata, we got mozz.. the squash blossoms were super tiny we got (2). Again, pricing here is super expensive and the quality is ridiculously off. Entrees come, I ordered scallops with crab risotto. it was some sort of weird clumpy sauce on it. You can see in the pic. there was a film on the whole plate! The chicken looked good it had veggies and artichoke. the pork chop had a ton of peppers all over it with a side of mash and spinach. These are reg dishes not worth the expensive price tag. For dessert we order lava cake, tiramisu and tartufo. Average stuff nothing fancy.. It's funny as we are eating our dessert. One of the waiters says to the girl at the other table don't get the lava cake it's a few days old. Smh! Overall, this place isn't worth the hype. I personally wouldn't come back here. Went for dinner on Wednesday, two people. We both ordered from pre fix menu $39.99. They charged extra for items on pre fix $60 for a piece of fish, my salmon was over cooked, appetizers were good. We had 5 glasses of wine, espresso and dessert. Pre fix menu. Bill came to $243 for two people. Don't put items on pre fix if you're going to charge extra money for them. Yet I went to another Italian restaurant that is popular, 4 of us five glasses of wine two apps 4 main dishes no desserts. Bill was $240. I think that he is a bit over priced. read more

My girlfriends and I had lunch this past Saturday at Deluca's and there weren't many other patrons there which made for a quiet setting to catch up with each other. We had so much to catch up on and before you know it, more tables were filled with patrons and it was dinner time! Grateful that the staff didn't rush us out or anything and allowed us to stay and chat over some cocktails. Our server was Javier and he was great - very attentive: filled our waters and wine glass when we were running low, friendly, knew the specials and menu well - he really took care of us! I have been on the lookout for a great Italian spot on Staten Island since my return to island in 2007. Before that, I was in Bay Ridge where options were many. This spot has quickly become our favorite for many reason, top reason obviously is the food. It's all well crafted with fresh and thoughtful ingredients. The staff is attentive and friendly and the room is stylish. On Saturdays it could become loud but the owner has thoughtfully installed ceiling sound panels to help, which let's face it, is pretty cool and it tells me much about him. Having been there now about 10 times I can say we have never been disappointed with anything. Last night's was no different. We had the lobster guacamole starter which is pretty spectacular. The clams, which I normally skip when visiting anywhere else were nicely executed and the calamari agrodolce crispy and tender with just the right amount of sauce. I had the linguine with pesce fra diavole and it was spot on. The lobster dish is from a visit 2 weeks ago. The whole experience is very 'old school' in a good way and this come from a guy who ate at Ponte Vecchio's in Bay Ridge for 25 years straight. Thanks Robert and team! Delucas is my favorite restaurant in tottenville! Rob is awesome. The staff is personable, friendly and attentive. Food- the specials are always amazing, i can't get over their figs and i hope they have them again soon. Their menu has something for everyone! My favorites are the octopus, artichoke, beggars purse pasta is to die for. And don't forget their chicken Prosecco. Atmosphere- Delucas is beautiful. Music is always playing, everyone's always chatting enjoying each others company. Drinks- i must say all of their martinis are incredible, and different! Cobbler martini, peanut butter espresso martini, even their specialty cocktails are incredible. Price- for what you get the price is not a rip off like the rest of staten island's restaurants. From the time you walk in Delucas you know you're in for a special evening. Beautiful ambience with a dark romantic room and pictures all over the wall. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and was fast with getting our drinks and food to the table. We started with a calamari in a Diablo sauce that was the perfect spice. My pork chop was to die for and was covered in spicy peppers and sauce just the way I like it.
